I really think vegetarianism is the way to go against animal cruelty. What I found interesting was Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, in his video, The Joy of Liberating Animals on Youtube, advised his students to turn vegetarian to create the causes to build an animal sanctuary or shelter. This is to show their commitment to care for animals instead of just saying they care. We dont really care for animals if we keep eating them every meal!
The message is powerful--but the production is so busy. It is loaded with subtitles which is good, but adding the graphics behind the interview screen is distracting. Another thing--while I have a great deal of respect for Dr Schwartz he is Orthodox in his religious beliefs and stated in the interview that in the beginning all animals were vegetarian. How is he going to convince a skeptic with comments such as this? I myself am not a skeptic--I am vegetarian.
Very cool!
