I knew there was something crappy about this show. No wonder it took me FOREVER to get into it. Mardaro losses MAJOR POINTS for betraying his friend out right.  Koya gave up everything for his ass & this is how he pays him back? He just used Koya's hatred as an excuse. Even if there wasn't any hatred in Koya's heart, Maradro would have still abandoned him for the human. Koya really loved him & he turned his back on him. Madaro gets no sympathy or love from me from here out.

Hmm, this anime looks pretty cool ^^. But hell... if you like wolves, check out Wolf's Rain. And jesus... if this makes you cry... you'll be bawling at the end of wolf's rain :P

@n33wom: I know right? Pu-leeze... I don't even shed a tear. But... I do understand Koya's point. Human's are selfish & have practical destroyed the way of life for ever animal, vegetable & mineral on this planet... they've even damn near destroyed themselves. I may not agree w/ Koya wanting to kill every human, but I do understand his point. To the other life on this planet, we humans can be really shitty indeed.

*facepalm* Okay; since I'm seeing stupid comments everywhere. I'll explain it all; 1.) Yes Madarao is gay, the creator of Kekkaishi even said so in interviews. 2.) Kouya and Ginro are Mountain Dogs/Honshu Wolves. The name "Mountain dog" is a nickname the wolves got. So they are demon wolves/dogs. 3.) Madarao did love his master but in the homosexual kind of way. 4.) Why the hell does his orientation matter? He's an awesome character.

@StarTheWolf32: The gay bit (besides the stereotypical lisp) is unnecessary considering that animals have emotions but no real logic & shame on the creator 4 pandering to a stereotype. Despite his gayness, I see his love as how all dogs must feel the 1st time they meet their master. They do fall in love w/ their master but not in that overt sexual way. It's the sense of just wanting 2 belong as this person's pet. (& Don't even go their about humping a master's leg. 4 most dogs a leg is a leg.)

@robynsegg That stereotype may be due to how in the manga Madarao is female while Ginro was male and gay since the creator confirmed he's gay. In the manga later on when he meets his master again; his homosexuality from the past really shows and it's not just a dog and his master thing... Like REALLY shows how his thoughts about Tokimori were. It's not 'my first master', psh that's a huge understatement on how Madarao's feelings were more so a homosexual feelings of him in the past.

@radandredeemed Haha the creator of the show even stated in an interview that he always saw Madarao as a gay dog. Besides, in the last episode, he even kind of came out when he was talking about Tokimori.

I know the voice actor for Yoshimori is the same for Edward Elric from FMA, but the moods for each character are so well-captured that you can't really mistake one of them for the other. Props to that voice actor! ;)

@tabithacutie Basically people called kekkaishi who can see spirits and make box thingys that destroy the evil ones. Yoshimori is the main character and Madarao (the big white wolf) is his companion. And, they're battling at the school, which was built on top of an ancient ...thing(?) that makes demons stronger. Yoshimori and tokine (the girl)
