I freaking LOVE THIS SONG! Actually Manchu language is South Altaic Lang like Mongolian. North Altaic's are Tuva and Turk . And the words goes like same sounds like Mongolia to me.
Arkhi -Arki means Vodka in Mongolia and Man chu
Uusan - Ucun means Drinking in Mongolia and Man chu...

It is definitely an altaic language. Sounds between turkish and mongolian. Many words are similar to mongolian. Does someone translate the title of this song please? Drunk Vodka (sounds like this in mongolian) ? :-) This song is joyful and carefree.
manjuniyalma? I don't know if you can understand this, but you can try.
Yes, I can speak a bit of Manchu language, but I'm still learning it and it's not easy so I can't completely understand what these people are singing but I think it also has to do something with drinking.
super, i can sing the other nation's songs about the vodka. And then i can sing the song in main language!.....It's so hardly to speak in english......
If the Manchus were Chinese or wanted to be Chinese, why didn't they simply take chinese letters? It is because they had different thoughts than you have now about "many" aspects...
You bet, that is why even the manchu emperors such as Qianlong, Jia Qing, Xian Feng.... and the last emperor PU YI who couldn't even speak a word of manchu according to himself, but all of them were fluent in Mandarine Chinese.
How could they hate China, They ruled China, they influenced by Chinese culture, they were part of the history, so are my relatives and me.
We Love China, I don't give a shit about what the others think!
So, I am glad you agree that Manchus were different than Chinese and they lost their identity because of Chinese culture influence. /I don't blame it... If I sounded so, I apologize/ That was all I need to hear. Anything else let it go in China... Good luck and wish you all the best...
More chinese than Mongolians live In Inner Mongolia today. The six million people that you call Mongolians cannot speak Mongolian properly. This is also fact... You are brain washed or you just ignore someone else's hope and belief... Is China big country? Yes, it is... but won't be great country if someone like you keeps trying to insult its neighbours' history...
Dead man doesn't say a word... We say in Mongolia... Pu Ye wanted to restore Manchu and many people followed him... This is another fact... Chinese Noble people fought against Manchus... They were even secret society in China against Manchu... This is a part of China's history... Your ancestors would be hurt if they could have heard you... Please, try not to change facts in history and ignore what people wanted throughout the history.
Lots of fact still says what you want to say in here was not true. Maohammet. Please, don't teach us what to choose. We have right to have what we have to have... Now you say Manchu was China but Chinese people have already said "Restore the Min and Detroy the Qing" almost century ago... This is a fact...
In early years of Da Qing Dynasty, their Kings were married with Mongolian royal women but not with Chinese and Koreans... It was because not only of ruling Mongolian steppe but also they had khown Mongolians and Manchus had similar life style and root.
Thta is haedly the case, The Manchus, even before they overthrew the Min, were already heavily sinicized. Most of the Manchu economy was run by Han immigrants. Many Hans also served in the Manchu military banners. The Manchus by themselves could not have defeated the Ming. The Ming had a superior army in terms of technology. THe Qing took advantage of turmoil in Beinjing and assistance from Ming defectors to win.
The reason why Manchu rule lasted long in China is because right from the onset, they respected Han culture and were great patrons of Chinese culture. They also did not discriminate the Hans in government. By the time of Yong Cheng, some of the most powerful generals was Han. Kangxi, aka Enkh Amgalan, is considered one of the Greatest Chinese Emperors. On the other hand, the Mongols in China were overthrown after less than 100 years because they did not respect Chinese culture and discriminate.
Yeah, early Manchu Emperors married Mongolian women of the Genghisid line. Later emperors married Han women. Of the 10 million Manchus in China, an ovwerwhelming majority has intermarried with Hans or other ethnic groups. The only pure Manchus are probably the Xibe in Xinjiang. All the important generals from the mid Qing period were Han, like Zho Zhong Tang and Li Hung Chang.
They married Mongolians because it was the tradition that started in NURHACHI's period. The Mongol banner men heavily relied on the manchu JIAN ZHOU banner men,
Manchu occupied Mongolia... They married Mongolians and they used Mongolians in their fight... It is all about that we have no close connection to China and Mongolia has never occupied by Chinese but Manchus... Thanks for the historical proof... Again wish you all the best...
Last word... Please allow me... I never said Manchus hated China. Not even me either now... History is history... Also, people are people they do what ever they want but someone can't just ignore others
Historically, Mongols and Manchus were not enemies. However... Yes. they were competitors over ruling China. During the Qing Dynasty, Manchus protected Mongolian life style and land from chinese. Mongolian aimags /tribes/ like Tsahar and others were guard for royal Qing Dynasty. Manchu script perfectly same as Mongolian script.
It was the Manchus who later opened the floodgates of immigration to ovor Mongoia. In fact, the Manchus encouraged it. By the 19th century, Manchus saw themselves almost intertwined with the Hans. They were also encouraging Han immigration to Outer Mongolia when the 1911 revolution happened. The Manchus committed genocide on the West Mongols, slaughtering almost 90 percent of the Dzungars.
Korean and Japanese is not Altai. Han Chinese langauges also have similar syntax to English, but that does not mean Han Chinese languages are related to English. LOL!
It sounds more like uigur or some turkish like languages. I heard around 600 000 manchu descendants live in shinjaan-uigur. Maybe... any one could translate it... the word horse and sheep is exactly same is Mongolian...
yes,the Manju language is similar to Mongolian, but the korean language also share some similarities with Manju and Mongol(though the koreans r genetically closer to southeastAsians, but diff from altai),because they were conquered and enslaved by Manju/MOngol throughout the history
I think the Koreans borrowed some words from Manju during the Balhae period. The Koreans are not altai. Of course, Korean also borrowed 60 percent of their vocabulary from Han languages, that does not mean they are Sino Tibetan. For example, Koreans call their country Dae Han Min Guk, which in Mandarin is Da Han Min Guo.
Call me crazy, I believe that we manchus are reincarnations of the shaman god. Especially as our members of the banner men, we must nor forget who we are.
Manchus and Mongols are historical enemies. The Manchus (Jurchens) fought the Mongolic Khitans and Genghiz Khan. The Manchus wiped out the Dzungar Mongols. The biggest allies of the Manchu is actually the Han Chinese. Of course, Manchu kings, then emperors married Genghiz Khan's direct decendants as wives, to legitimize the rule of the Mongols over the Steppes. Apart from that, Nuzhen peoples have fought against the Mongols.
I have to learn manchu, someone must teach me. I feel really shame, I am manchu I can't even say a word of my language. I know more Spanish than Manchu, that is really bad......
Manchu is very similar with Mongolian language.
