i can see the merit in this product, if the fish are biting and you get your line taken then you dont want to spend 1 or 2 minute retying another to get back in the water because the fish may have already moved on - this would be the only time i would use this though
I have used this product and find it very simple to tie a braided line to it. My 7 year old son was able to attach braided line to it in 10 seconds. how can you knock a product that makes fishing easier while not taking away from the strength of the connection.
@LiamFishing I did'nt know those little towels talk, maybe I will buy one from VINCE to check it out. You know, VINCE, the hooker beating towel peddler?
I worry about the corkscrew straightening out on a big fish. Also, gotta have it go through guides, hahaha. Great starting point though. Clever Aussies!!!
Well painballhead03, most pros won't use something unless you pay them to, and mooza81, it is too big to go through the guides, but great for short leaders and quick carolina rigs, and 4310jose, not everyone can tie knots as well as you and it's simply a quick easy solution for those who need one. Not designed for everyone, no product ever is, but it's a creative one and you have to applaud the inventor for at least thinking outside the box. Anglers are a creative bunch.
@paintballhead03 Just a question for you bro.... because a pro uses a item does it make it good? Nope they only use it because they get paid to. I played pro painbtall here where i live and i will be honest for saying the reason we left our sponsor is cause we didnt like the Dye NT... if it ran it ran great if it didnt it was a problem child all the time... my alltime fav gun which i am going back to is my limited edition Droid, guess what its one of the cheaper Highend guns that shoots ropes
@mooza81 Um just like the other no knot systems its not supposed to go through the guides.. you attach your leader to your braid and when casting you never roll your bait to the guid anyway,, you should leave a good bit out to get distance.. your comment is more fail then the product.. i dont own it but it makes a lot of sense
you can tie a surgeons knot faster n easier
