@theawakener7 Ha rich, A brit talking down to another nation because of its bad deeds in the past. Your too much for me man, I give up, who can argue with your logic. Have a good life, I'll beam some of my love and openmindedness too you, after all I'm Aikidoka, I'm telepathic :-D
@theawakener7 Wow, you managed to insult the Japanese language, culture, and everyone who wants to practise any kind of peaceful non agressive martial arts, whale songs, and anyone who meditates....according to your profile your 45 years of age....from these posts you seem like a really unpleasant person.
Ok, coming from a guy who actually has some experience, this is pretty cool, sure it is not applicable in street completely but in some ways it is. You don't go down and start beating on a guy with multiple attackers, else you get a couple fists to the back of the head...
LOL - I wish people attacked me like this on the street! Come on! NOT ONCE was there even an attempt to attack with intent, and every attack was the same LAME "one hand in the air while running at me" attack. And as for the multiple attack aspect - since when is one at a time considered multiple attackers? This gives Aikido a bad name.
Amazing??? Did anyone else notice that the compiling ukes ALL attacked one at a time using the same "one arm in the air charge attack"? Come on... Let's see this again against people who know how to fight and who don't know the proper reaction to the Aikido movements. THAT would be a real test, and one that I bet most Aikido experts would fail...
you have a point. I'm not particularly well-versed in aikido, so I was basically dazzled by the whirling hakama. Looking back on the video more closely, I can see how the uke were pretty sad and the seme didn't display much.
it's great how once you get to a certain skill level, half the techniques look like he's just striking them with an atemi and they're falling over. Aikido is hard to master, but once you're there it's an amazing thing.
And who the hell are you? You're talking to somebody that had a whopping two months of aikido, so I don't expect myself to catch much in videos like this. Marcus has a point, but you don't have to hop on his shoulders and start calling people dumbasses.
