wow..I am 100% filipina..I can understand kapampangan but i only speak a little, ..yaku bat ku keng Angeles City and my other cousins have their relatives also in Bamban, Tarlac..I also love dinuguan and I can cook it too. when I first ate it, I was like.. "yumyum!! what's this made up??" and my mom told me," dugo ng baboy.." I wasn't shocked or like "kadiri!!" and spit it out..but rather i just told her, "ooh..really?? i love it.. can u teach me how to make it??" i really love to cook.. :D

i also only know just a lil bit of tagalog. nakakaintindi ako ng tagalog pero konti lang.. i use rosetta stone (which i probably shouldnt have gotten.. very pricey!). i ask my gf to give me conversations and i try to use what i learned from rosetta. i also learn new words from her too. i think its best to learn one on one from a fluent speaker. i'm catching on tagalog very well since i know kapangpangan and i think that helps out. i actually know more tagalog grammar than kapangpangan hahah

we r very similar.. i am kapangpangan too! i can speak well but not 100% fluent anymore :( my mom and grandma used to speak to me everyday. i also don't like to eat diniguan hahah after i found out that it's cow blood ;P umm "tanay dana" is only kapangpangan i think.. i will ask my gf since she is 100% tagalog. btw, do u call ur grandma "apo?"
