the rules of the rally are clear, the participants must respect the local driving rules... obviously with the kind of cars they drive it's difficult not to exceed the speed limit. Accidents can happen, but in this case it's too much. Can you imagine if you were in Macedonian's people's place? These drivers arrive from the other side of the world, they cross their country without no respect for anything, they crash and they kill two people.. and they don't even stop to help, they try to run away!

If you go to sign up to the rally its clearly worded about not speeding at it being a rally not a race. How people choose to actually do the gumball is a bit out of maxs controll. This was the first time anyone had died and its the responsibility of every driver in the gumball to respect the laws of the road. However a lot of people who do the rally are rich ass's who use it as a chance for a road race. It was a tradgedy but people do die on the roads every day and they dont get as much coverage

the rally is tradition and gives people a chance to feel speed taking a 1/4 at 200mph isnt always enough..not for me so i need the rally when u join the rally u r responsible to be a safe driver as well as a good 1 so u as the driver should e prepared for anything i know i am if theres traffic common sense says do speed!!! if u make dumbs moves and mistkes we should not be responsible for ur screw ups! so keep it goin but....test a driver before they join the rally

Andy Fuzzy- I GUESSthat you are very young or naive. Risk=Likelihood of harm happening in certain circumsatnces. Hazard=Anything with potential to cause harm. Rally is not RACE... Agree that motorist take a risk when they drive to the shops, to see family etc. What they dont expect is some stupid moron who has not slept for days driving a supercar no doubt hungover in the mornings taking amphetamines to stay awake. GROWUPGUYS-RACE off the highway, no one deserves to go needlessly like this.

I live in Macedonia and believe me NOONE is that crazy to risk his life for some settlement. If you didn't know noone knew that gumball 3000 was going to pass thru Macedonia and that's why this happened. The family of the lost ones in the accident agreed to take a settelment instead a jail sentence for Nick Morly because it would ruin his reputation.

We were not there to see how it happened... so I'm really not sure if I can believe what you tell me. Anyway if you don't want the gumball to stop (as I don't) you can think to organize it in another continent... like in North America: USA for example... just there! Why not?

the rules of the rally are clear, the participants must respect the local driving rules... obviously with the kind of cars they drive it's difficult not to exceed the speed limit. Accidents can happen, but in this case it's too much. Can you imagine if you were in Macedonian's people's place? These drivers arrive from the other side of the world, they cross their country without no respect for anything, they crash and they kill two people.. and they don't even stop to help, they try to run away!

If you go to sign up to the rally its clearly worded about not speeding at it being a rally not a race. How people choose to actually do the gumball is a bit out of maxs controll. This was the first time anyone had died and its the responsibility of every driver in the gumball to respect the laws of the road. However a lot of people who do the rally are rich ass's who use it as a chance for a road race. It was a tradgedy but people do die on the roads every day and they dont get as much coverage

Ahh, If the racers died then yeh, i think they should keep going like some people said, but innocent people that didnt want to race, that just needed to drive on their local roads to do their local daily things died because some guys cant control their car!...At least the road should be closed off if they are that "rich" or something, ya know there are always accidents with cars specially at those speeds, i don't see why they can even let this happen.

It's a stupid race held by and for super rich amateur drivers. They have no business racing on the public roads endangering innocent lives with their flagrant disregard of the rules of the road. Professional drivers don't do this. How many tele adverts have you seen with the words "Professional driver on CLOSED course". There is a reason for that. Maybe if you've had a loved one killed in such an event you'd hold a different opinion.
