With Standard TC tires 26 to 30mm, a 69/35 works well with a 3 cell lipo. This combo will yield around a 2.00 to 2.25 ET @ 60 to 65 MPH in
132'. Depending on the 3 cell used and traction. For improved traction and ET use BSR Dirt oval tires (silver) C1014. the fronts will have to be trimmed. But they are great for drag racing.
The Mamba 8000 is for 1/18th scale cars. You can run up to a 4-cell Lipo.
The Mamba Max 7700 is for 1/10th scale. In Drag racing it is posible to run up to a 4-cell Lipo also. But a separate power supply for the reciever is needed (Voltage issues). A 3-Cell is no problem.
why does catle creations say you can only use 2 cell on mamba 7000 and 5700 mamba 3 cell is ok? thanks you had no problems with using 3 cell on mamba 7000? they said motor magnets will crush? thanks

We have had no problems. But we only run full power (over 200 Amps) for less than three seconds.
