"I will lay me down..." I don't know why but each and every time I hear this song I get shivers down my spine... His wonderful voice conquered generation after generation... broke the time barriers... What saddens me is that the young generation all over the globe denies the true values. The profile shot at 1:30 is one of the best I have seen of this famous 1972 press conference.

Although I prefer his 1970 version of this song, I always get shivers up and down my spine when he sings "sail on silver, sail on by". But I feel the 1972 version was a little over produced towards the end.

I love the pictures in this video. Anyone know what is hanging off his belt at 1:55 ? Looks like a camera.

Absolutely perfect job as always, 10 Stars. This is easily one of my most favorite songs of all time and Elvis easily has the very best renditions of it. Elvis will definitely always be the greatest singer, entertainer and phenomenon. Elvis will definitely also always have the greatest voice and the greatest fans.
