He was talking about Anne B, her last pregnancy child (miscarriage) was a boy and the boy was deformed. This is true to history, it's most likely the baby died weeks before inside her, could have been otherwise such as downs syndrome but we will never know. Henry could not except any child of his would be deformed, Anne also had six fingers on one hand according to history, that's part of why the people called her a witch (the mindset in those days).

Yes, I agree. Anne also sped up the Reformation, but I suppose I'm biased because I'm Protestant. I think Anne was so scarred after Henry took Percy away from her that she couldn't love again, and all she had was ambition.

It's the people who felt the pain and politics under the Tudor Reign the most, Henry only suffered with his leg in later life but you could call it karma after all his wickedness and tyranny all his children were kings or Queens but they never had children. Yes, she did. Catherine was opposed to the French treaties and alliances that Henry was made, and at the first chance, got Henry to break off Mary's betrothal to the Crowned Prince of France, and Betroth her to the Spanish emperor instead. Even thought she was his aunt, and Mary was his Cousin.

and she had ALWAYS promoted Catholic interest, even before she was Queen, up until the time she died. Even more so after her nephew had held the Pope himself hostage.
