It is interesting to think that according to Brianstalin (past life 'exxpert') ...
Anne later incarnated as Queen Victoria (who he also says was formally incarnated as the Pharaoh Hatsheput) and Lizzy incarnated as Maria Antoinette (who he also says was formally incarnated as Cleopatra).
Just thought I would share some interesting information I came across from someone who has studied with the Dalai Lama and other Tibetan masters. You can take the information, or leave it, as you wish. I am sure thought here are some who may find it worth while enough to investigate further, rather than just dismissing it out of hand.
"For most my work is extravagance and myth. It is, however, a truth for those who can comprehend it. I love it not the less because it has been superficially judged and little understood by the common herd. It is not meant for them!"
Henry loved Elizabeth, very much so, she was his "Bessy". But because he beleived that women were not fit to rule kingdoms, he wouldnt allow himself to acknowledge the seed of greatness in Elizabeth, though he could see it. She was the best of him and the best of her mother - and truely "The Lions cub", as she later went on to prove, and honesly ? given how Henry could change his views when it suited him, I think he would probably say, he always knew that "Bessy" would make a great Prince
He was talking about Anne B, her last pregnancy child (miscarriage) was a boy and the boy was deformed. This is true to history, it's most likely the baby died weeks before inside her, could have been otherwise such as downs syndrome but we will never know. Henry could not except any child of his would be deformed, Anne also had six fingers on one hand according to history, that's part of why the people called her a witch (the mindset in those days).
Some history said she had six fingers but may say she didn't because Henry would never marry a woman deformed in anyway, afraid that his child with the woman would be deformed as well.
Maybe, as alot of history is tainted but we will never truly know. Unless she was exhumed from her grave, which I am not suggesting. In Henrys case though he married and followed his own will despite everyone else or their sufferring. It's sad but her last child she mascarried was deformed as I said,it's most likely the baby died weeks before inside her, could have been otherwise such as downs syndrome but we will never know.
She was Exhumed during the Victorian era, when they were renovating the Church she was buried in. Her body showed no indication that she had 6 fingers...
Anne was a GREAT Queen. She gave much more money to the poor then Katharine, She was very active in the new church, fallowed all traditions and chores that where expected (and not) of her.
Her only failing was the same failing as Katharine. She didn't have a son.
Wrong, she gave more money to ''appease'' the people they hated her, and blamed her for the marriage breakdown and religion reforms (when in honesty it was Henry). She was competing for public affection, As for following tradition no she didn't she brought french dress and ideas to court as well as the book that gave Henry the idea for a monarch to be the supreme head of the church. I could go on forever with this but I won't!. She was innocent of what henry accused her, may she RIP!.
THANK YOU!I've been saying that for ages! The only charge she should have been tried against was the true treason:Usurping Katherine's throne for herself. She used Henry's obsession for a son to her own benefit.Henry didn't help matters much by being infatuated with her.I honestly think he was just intrigued by Anne's mystique than in love with her.I doubt that after Henry Percy, she never loved anyone else in the same manner, apart from her daughter.
you have to admit, Henry ruined Anne's life. He shouldn't have been so selfish- he should have let her marry Henry Percy. So ultimately, the blame lies with Henry.
I blame them both for ruining each others lives. Anne for letting the idea of a crown on her head go far into her head and Henry for being so selfish and stupid enough to tear his country apart for a girl who never really loved him like she did for Henry Percy. I consent...he should have let her marry that stupid boy and be done with it...but then, we would not have our Elizabeth, which was the only good that came of the whole thing.
Yes, I agree. Anne also sped up the Reformation, but I suppose I'm biased because I'm Protestant. I think Anne was so scarred after Henry took Percy away from her that she couldn't love again, and all she had was ambition.
@100percentbabeLOL at least you're honest about the last part, unlike certain posters who say she deserved to die. I personally believe Anne wasn't good or bad, but I think she had the most influence of Henry's wives. You do have to give her credit for helping reformers though. But if you're Catholic, I guess that's a bad thing.
@evaperonfan Thank you, sadly the wifes suffered in one way or another but the children most. It's the people who felt the pain and politics under the Tudor Reign the most, Henry only suffered with his leg in later life but you could call it karma after all his wickedness and tyranny all his children were kings or Queens but they never had children. So the Tudor line/Reign henrys much desired legacy at any cost was broken.
Yes, she did. Catherine was opposed to the French treaties and alliances that Henry was made, and at the first chance, got Henry to break off Mary's betrothal to the Crowned Prince of France, and Betroth her to the Spanish emperor instead. Even thought she was his aunt, and Mary was his Cousin.
and she had ALWAYS promoted Catholic interest, even before she was Queen, up until the time she died. Even more so after her nephew had held the Pope himself hostage.
Very true is your answer, 'professorlafey 'is what we call ROMOPHOBIC, I have seen his answers before. I doubt little if he is a professor of any sort certainly not in history that's for sure!.
Crap, you call yourself a professor yet Know little about REAL history!. Henry used EVERYONE and killed EVERYONE he could in his way. That includes protestants and Catholics, as well as his own freinds and family. He never loved anyone, but himself!.
Oh yes Catherine sent a messenger to Henry to enquire about his health, and he got annoyed so started punching him and told him never to come back - or something like that! I think so anyway :)
great vid! it's really nice... you know "mother" and "daughter"... while watching your touching video I realize how poor Elizabeth was... just imagine, your mother being decapitated because she was a "whore" and you're declared bastard and the man you know as a father doesn't talk to you... poor Elizabeth... thanks to my ignorance I don't know exactly what happen next to Elizabeth, but surely she had many more troubles...
So Elizabeth was the unwanted princess even though Henry abandoned MARY in favor of Elizabeth? Yea okay mmhmm sure.

@scarllet86 Actually, Henry Tudor is every ounce Elizabeth's father, look at how they act and compare the two.

It's soo sad ho Elizabeth never got to know her mother, but grew to become such a kind and strong woman herself!

Catherine had years and years of Henry's love.. She just used it to much to promote Spanish and Catholic interest.
ProfessorLaFey 2 years ago
She didn't need use her love to him to promote anything...
Henry VII was who wanted an alliance with Spain, when Isabella I of Castille were the Queen of a rising empire
And Catherine never need use her power or position to defend the catholicism because the reform begins almost in the end of her marriagewith the king
