However, there ARE aspects of "revolution" in the Taliban/Swat movements. The years of corruption and mismanagement by "secular" forces DOES create interest among some for something new.

Perhaps for that reason it will be of interest to see how the Swat situation works out. If in a year or two it improves, then it may put pressure on the politicians to improve other parts of the country.

However these movements will spread to other areas well before that happens.
