  • I have been looking for a good version of this song on youtube.... These guys win. I especially like how they give the little guitar (mandolin) to the big fella. Sight gags like that never get old.

  • This is the song that got me hooked on bluegrass as a young kid! My folks had a country music booking agency back in the early 80's. I got to see lots of great bands like yours over the years. Good job guys! I don't play an interment but I sing a lot of bluegrass and classic country music in karaoke. I try to keep the older music alive for younger generations to keep it going.

  • Man that's fast...AWESOME!!!

  • Great voices, singing, pickin' and strummin'! Love it. :-)

  • Outstanding version gentlemen. Well done. Oh, and FloridaHuntingGuide that's not the Bonnie Blue. It the Texas flag hung sideways. You can see the red when the banjo player moves. Not being a wise guy. Just pointing it out.

  • very nice.

  • Wow, you guys are great! We sang this at a local show. I have it here on YouTube. Just search Mason Dixon Boys and let us know what you think. Keep up the good work!

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

  • it is mine favorite too Cata...they do a pretty good job on it

  • All time favorite bluegrass song. Im glad to find a video of people performing it.

  • One of the great bluegrass songs. But I have heard it originates from and old English ballad.

  • The original song was recorded by Manfred Mann. Yeah, the Blinded By The Light group from the 60's and 70's. It was written for them to record by an English Gentleman.

With that said, this is an EXCELLENT version, I love it. LOVE it.
