I am from Kentucky and love this song; I've been looking for a great version and this is one. Love the picking and harmony, not to mention the energy!
I wouldn't go out and buy this kind of music but I love the harmonies and I love watching people playing any kind of music and having fun while playing. sounded great and I enjoyed watching the vid.

I would like to say it was written by my uncle Tony Hazzard who some on here rightly say hes a gentleman and a very talented one at that and i would say it is a faster version than i normally hear but it still sounds great
I have been looking for a good version of this song on youtube.... These guys win. I especially like how they give the little guitar (mandolin) to the big fella. Sight gags like that never get old.
This is the song that got me hooked on bluegrass as a young kid! My folks had a country music booking agency back in the early 80's. I got to see lots of great bands like yours over the years. Good job guys! I don't play an interment but I sing a lot of bluegrass and classic country music in karaoke. I try to keep the older music alive for younger generations to keep it going.
Outstanding version gentlemen. Well done. Oh, and FloridaHuntingGuide that's not the Bonnie Blue. It the Texas flag hung sideways. You can see the red when the banjo player moves. Not being a wise guy. Just pointing it out.
Wow, you guys are great! We sang this at a local show. I have it here on YouTube. Just search Mason Dixon Boys and let us know what you think. Keep up the good work!
The original song was recorded by Manfred Mann. Yeah, the Blinded By The Light group from the 60's and 70's. It was written for them to record by an English Gentleman.
With that said, this is an EXCELLENT version, I love it. LOVE it.
love the vocal harmonies.... beautiful performance
