  • hi did the werm lol i no my spelling is shit

  • somebody get that guy a beer...

  • hahahahah...

  • vs aikido?

  • i bet he would hav performed better if he was actually drunk

  • awsome

  • he's too rigid

  • he needs more wine i suppose!

  • well mabey he should have a little more practice but he is off to a good start

  • look like tea boxing rather than drunken boxing lol

  • lightning fast!!!!!

  • haha he did the worm

  • the most documented form of attack in irish bars

  • LOL! That comment just made my day

  • His form was pretty flawless. But, it did seem like he hadn't been doing it a while, simply because he was a little stiff. That's all. Might've just been that he'd practiced in another martial art longer. It's easier to learn Zui Quan when you're able to get past the 'rigid' tradition of most other martial arts. It can be more challenging then it sounds. x3

  • Agree

  • his drunkedness is a bit missing, but it's otherwise good.

  • Looked pretty good to me

  • It was okay

  • he needs to stumble more

  • it's not too bad he just needs to make his movements less shifty.

  • Here's what I can't find anywhere: On what criteria is Zuiquan judged? It can't be remotely the same as contemporary.

  • 0:17-0:30 well done otherwise was bad

  • finally a guy that dos know how 2 fight with drunken fist hes alot faster then other gus i will love 2 get in a fight with him 2 c hows drunken fist is better

  • this is so hard to learn even to get the concept of it is pretty hard

  • It wasn't bad, other than the fact that his legs were straight. I can tell he's a beginner because he's conscious about it, but that'll go away after he's learned how to do it without thinking about it.

  • Yeah, he's not bad, he's just too stiff. Give him a while to get more comfortable with the style.

  • MORE WINE!

  • It wasn't bad, other than the fact that his legs were straight.

  • I taught myself traditional drunken fist, then a bit of wushu cause that stuff is HARD, then it made a mix of the two! Is that good?

  • as with any martial art practice is key, but i practice drunken boxing every day and see no problem with his form

  • im so jealous i really want to learn zui quan. its a beautiful fighting style and looks like a lot of fun

  • u guys complain saying its not that good. i like to see YOU do it

  • guys you all are saying how hes not doing it right but id like you lot to do better

  • he is to stiff needs to become more fluid in his movments

  • Why does every person that does Drunken Boxing always do that bending motion than proceed to act like their drinking? It's so repetative it's not even funny.

  • Because that represents drinking from a cup or gord, making the guy drunk... Its like any martial art with its stance or bow.

  • the "bending motion" that you are talking about is part of the style, tech. it's not necessary but it's not the point. It def. is not meant to be funny, it's about misdirection of your opponent. the only reason you can not tell this is b/c this video is of an exhibitionist rather than a traditionalist

  • i dont think it was that bad :P

  • very right

    need more practise

  • practice*

  • Li Shiang is right !

  • yo guys shut up, dont matter how you do it. hes a drunken boxing pioneer. plus, he can still kick butt ^_^

  • i like it... its not bad but he can do it better :)

  • he's to strict, drunken fist is suppose to be loose and flexibility of the body to fool the opponents to think that the person is helpless than you are to strike

  • he is ok but he doesn't seem that drunk when he doees the form

  • I guess if you really were drunk, you wouldn't be able to tell where the boundary was.

  • 'twasnt THAT bad

  • very nice and it works

  • thats kindof like...acting out....i like karate katas better

  • does not use hips enough.

  • Hes probably realy good but screws up just by presure. Cool kid

  • he was too nervous but he can do better

  • i think the deal with drunken is in 50% of the time, looking disoriented, do you know how ronaldo keeps players knowing where he goes by looking at 5 directions at a time, he does a face like he doesn't know what to do and BAM; i think it can apply to all sports including combat

  • blues1pt,that's only your OPINION!I've had many streetfight's and with the little of Drunken fist that I've learned,it helped me to be victorious!

  • No kind of wushu, helps you in a fight. Especially, drunken style. But i really like to watch wushu, especially this style.

  • actually wushu, forms, and katas do the same thing in which they DEFINETLY help figting. without these sparring or fighting would be much less intence. it teaches how to involve actual punches in motion, stances, movment, mindset, and teqnique. let me just say this, id rather fight a dude with 20 years of sparing than one with 20 years of kata wushu under his belt

  • i don't think anyone can judge this guy, i don't do Druken Boxing, but that was better than wheva i muck around and pretend to do it, wat grade is he? or belt?

  • does it actualy help u in a fight

  • right there are vids of proffesionals on u tube type search : wushu 1990 ;-) greetz

  • not the best I've ever seen but fairly good.

  • not bad, you know you should just loosen up some, dont be so tense then it owuld look better

  • need more flow and less stiffness. an opponent could knock you flat off the ground with your body so stiff. and to lilangel0072, those moves are actually very good in real fights. The moves are flowing, unpredictable and disorienting. ll the while, the boxer has complete control of his movements.

  • if you guys think that was good then then wait till you see a professanal he wasnt bad but i seen better cool vid

  • uuuugh it's all about having a "cool" video, big flips and stuff like that won't work in actual fights.

  • true, but the ladies seem to really like it

  • I wanna learn how to do this.

Already know Tae Kwon Do, if that counts for anything.

  • If this is you, then I gotta say you totally pwn. How long have you been training? I want to start myself :)

And how old do ya gotta be to train it?

    -RobertOsteloff, some Norwegian guy :D

  • Damn you have a big head. lol Good job on the form, even if you feel you didn't deserve your medal. Cýa when I get back. Wes
