Her accent is a bit strange, but most actors don't sound genuine when they try to do a La. accent. Hers is better than a lot of others I've heard, and depending on where it was filmed, it could easily be spot on. I think it was around Morgan City, La (at least that's the area it looks like) so it's probably not far off.

The crawfish in the car scene bothers me a little... seems contrived, but it may make sense in the context of the film. Boiled crawfish is definitely not a road trip food...
