  • How many miles per hour does it go?

  • This video has been viewed by 22,000 people...thats it i quit!

  • Actually, the full-length version has been viewed more than 24,000 times. People like rails.

  • What batteries the monorails take and how much.

  • Two AA batteries. They last for 17 minutes or so before you notice a slow down. In my world that equals one lap around the layout.

  • My bro is a Monorail Pilot for Disneyland in CA.

  • Then you can get in for FREE! (and get your toy monorails for 20% off!)

  • Yeah i can get in for free. Never thought of monorail beams tho... lol

  • video is uploaded

  • My monorail came today, when I can I'll make a video of it

  • Can you do more viedos of youur monorails ?, I'm still waiting for mine 7th day of a 2-9 day delivery.

  • I'm working on one now. Stay tuned.

  • okay..I'm still waiting..

  • These things take a little while.

  • yes, its been tree weeks since the extra track was ordered, and two weeks since the monorail was ordered.

  • It's a slow boat to Japan. Ironically, they're made in China. You can probably get them cheaper there and it wouldn't take so long to ship!

  • Japanese people and chinese peopledon't get along.its easier to get it through the US.

  • Yeah, I know, it's just so much closer. For the sake of monorails, why can't we all just get along? How about Disneyland Tokyo? Don't they sell all the expensive Disney stuff? Sometimes if you contact them or one of the neighboring hotels you can persuade someone to ship you one.

  • Tokyo Disney land sells a three car version of the tokyo Disneyland Monorail, Ifound out from the seller it was shipped out on sunday, so I have to wait some days

  • Cool! I can't wait. I'm almost finished with mine too.

  • my gallery at Deviantart there you can see some photos of it you'll see it when you type Disney Monorail in the search box, its the pictures of the light blue one, my username is Genbe89

  • I think I have to be a member to look you up. I'll sign up when I get home tonight.

  • Yes, you can put Monorail pictures on there and show each one plus much more

  • On Deviantart's search they are having some problems. Search Genbe89 in Google, it will take you directly to my page and you will see my monorail pictures, right now I'm trying to upload a video

  • in ur backyard?

  • Backyard, frontyard, sideyard, inside, outside, pretty much anywhere.

  • Where did you get those Monorails..do you know where someone could buy those little disney monorails other then on Ebay ?

  • I got most of mine at Disneyworld. They only charged $35 for them when they first appeared. It didn't take them long to figure out people would pay much more for them. I have friends and family that work at WDW so I wait let them give me "gifts". They really don't work that well. I had to speed up the video to make them look like they worked at all. If you look closely you can tell that I had to help them along by hand from time to time.

  • I'm looking foer them online...do they still sell them at the Disney parks..and if so which shops ?

  • Downtown Disney Toy store usually has an abundance of them. The hotels that are served by monorails also have them. They sometimes run out for short periods. I saw some at the Polynesian hotel a few hours ago.

  • What are the average prices of them ?

  • Seventy dollars. No, I'm not kidding. $70.00!

  • thats 20$ more then what they were the last time I was there...are they the light blue monorail set with the little disney figures you can stick inside it ?

  • Yes, that's the one. I prefered the old ones. The front and back units are the same. Only the three center cars have opening doors and rooves. The doors are fragile and fall off easily and since the parts are so small it's difficult to find them once they bounce across a floor.

  • me too..Is the light blue one is this video that type...There are plenty of them on Ebay from Katrina's toy world..Thats probely how I'll get mine.I wish I could get the black one which is rare.but that one has to be bid on...I went to my disney store..and they said they stopped selling them...so internet now is the only way for me right now.

  • Those black ones aren't that rare. I think the purple one is the rarest. I think the blue one in the video is the new one. It might me the Disneyland version but the image quality is too poor to tell. I look forward to your video.

  • I haven't even seen a monorail purple toy on Ebay..The blackone, there mabey 6 of them being bidded on..There are two reds for buy now..no yellows on..and many of the newer light blue one...the light blue is my favorite color, but I do like the black one..your Lt blue one is new one..the disney land one has the windows aranged differently

  • I had 2 of them Red, and Purple, but sold them to please my ex-wife :(

  • are you serious?!!?!?!? Boy she sounds like a champ. I have 4 of them ..and my wife loves them...hense ..she is still my wife....

  • Yeah she was a b!tch. She said I spent too much mony on the 2 monorails ($70 each from ebay) Yet she would spend $100's on Tinker Bell stuff.

  • Pretty good! I would've "killed" for toys like this when I was a kid :)

  • Thank you. Me too, but it was worth the bloodshed.

  • you got from disney world monorail

  • Yes, I did. Those Disney people make plenty of money from those silly monorails.
