OK in NHL, there are disadvantages in fighting - like one of the main ones are you CANT KICK. and also you have these "armors" around your body. In NBA, a fight can turn just turn into a "STREET FIGHT". That's why its not allowed. Mostly everyone in NBA is black - it can get brutal.
