@teknoholik79 CID cannot be compared to Byomkesh Bakshi , Karamchand or other shows of old DD..Havent you noticed how lame the CID stories are? How can something like CID be compared to of one of the greatest Authors of Bengali Literature Sri Sardindu Bandhopadhya .

@Galavya41 totally agree!! CID is a joker show with stupid actors and stupid acting and comic plots!! Its worst than the saas bahu soap operas!! In all most all the episodes that I have seen of CID (tho I regret that now) 90% of the time those joker detectives are chasing the suspect. Thats their detective skills which is to chase a suspect for hours that too on foot. theres no way that CID and byomkesh bakshi be compared cos one is a detective show and the other a comedy show...

This show used to scare the living shit outta me whn I was a kid!! The music, the setting, the characters etc but now I think this is funnier than "tom and jerry" hahaha....

is somebody having the other episodes of byomkesh bakshi (the older ones) . I still remember the names of a few like.. ret ka daldal , kile ka rahasya , raaste ka kanta , laal neelam etc. I am not able to find those. Truely awesome serial.. I love to watch them (even after having watched them atleast 7 - 8 times each).

what a perfect actor, depends who is the director. probably you won't see that in serials like CID, sometimes exaggerated, over acting blah blah. This serial is so natural and nicely done.

I could not agree any more with pearl1729. Rajit kapoor is one actor who would do justice to this role. The intellect in this role is amazing, the smile on his face would convince anyone that he is on the top of things and he will take care of any issue on this earth. Great TV serial, some beautiful memories, and offcourse an amazing actor!!!

I miss Sam Dsilva too. We also had Barrister Vinod, Janaki Jasoos and Karamchand but these are really very old serials. I miss them 80's serials.
