Way to go for safer intersection. Traffic signal kills more than 3,000 people in USA and Canada (FHWA 2009 and Transport Canada Statistics 2008). Yet people think traffic signal is safe. Its time to use roundabout and deal with safety issues in a ethical way.
Went around this earlier today, confronted by the rather unusual road sign and sat nav proudly explaining "Take 4th exit at the roundabout!" on the way back, chose our route whilst the sat nav fell eerily silent! Nice commentary and a superb example of road planning at it's worst!
I found it weird that I think that was really funny! We brits put up with some really bad road ideas. Those roundabouts were all so close why dont the local council not just make 1 massive roundabout instead of having that many? It seems to me that large vehicles like this bus at times have no choice but to push their nose out.
