I'm doing a biography of Tito for our history course, 'cause I didn't know much about him and when I started to search information about him I was surprised, I found it interesting that after over thirty years Tito's death I find only a little good information about him (especially in Finnish). I was shocked that there was only three books in library, two were from 80's. And the conversation in these videos are making my research even more interesting.
When 3/5ths of the country are the same, and want the same things, they will scream democracy. B/c they know they only need the most votes. but what about when you have a nation like Yugoslva? and there are many like that? then majority rule isnt perfect for all places is it? esp. when you get ppl. voting along racial, class, &religious lines. Not for principles&progress for the whole nation.

I'm sorry, but it was an illusion. Yugoslavia was only held together by Tito, but no man lives forever. Yugoslavia always ment a state dominated by Serbs. If there were ANY united Yugoslovans how come no one wanted to to protect SFRY? How come the people who cried at Tito's grave later took weapons and tried to kill my people? How come people who called themselves Yugoslovans were always a minority in SFRY? SFRY was Tito's country, nothing more.

He wasn`t real Josip Broz Tito. He was Josua Ambroz Mayer, halfbrother of real Tito (from a same mother, Marija Janosek). Real Tito was born in Croatia and died in WW1. There were ties with Adolf Hitler since the same people were aducated both persons. His father was polish jew Samuel Mayer and Josua was born in Vienna.

No one, not even Tito, have the right to force people to live together if they dont want to. If he was a heroic leader, he would have organised a democratic election so that people could have decided if they wished to live together in a multi-cultural communist country. If he wanted to have a revenge on Nazis, the Croats, Italian and German minorities within Yugoslavia he would have prosecute these individuals. Instead he killed them, including their families, innocent wives and children.

This documentary is horrible. Ive watched all episodes and they all salute Tito. Its disgusting! Tito did many good things (so did Hitler) but he was primarily a dictator and murderer. How can people who are supposed to be democratic historians and experts from the west salute a simple undemocratic dictator and butcher? How can they do a documentary without even mentioning the slaughter of 200 000 Croats, mostly civilians, in the Austrian town of Bleiburg?

He wasn`t real Josip Broz Tito. He was Josua Ambroz Mayer, halfbrother of real Tito (from a same mother, Marija Janosek). Real Tito was born in Croatia and died in WW1. There were ties with Adolf Hitler since the same people were aducated both persons. His father was polish jew Samuel Mayer and Josua was born in Vienna.

It can be done by loaning money from international banks with interest rates. And when its time to pay back (in this case, after 1980.) everything is going down. yes I do actually, he learned and was eductated as he grew older and plus there's plenty of historical evidence that he existed AND I've never heard any historians from the right, or left claming that he died in WWI except for some nazi historians who claim they killed him in WWII in a shoot out but they don't give sources are sufficant evidence for that

No one, not even Tito, have the right to force people to live together if they dont want to. If he was a heroic leader, he would have organised a democratic election so that people could have decided if they wished to live together in a multi-cultural communist country. If he wanted to have a revenge on Nazis, the Croats, Italian and German minorities within Yugoslavia he would have prosecute these individuals. Instead he killed them, including their families, innocent wives and children.

tromber1 ur wrong, tito wasnt forcing them to be together, they wanted to be together. i myself am a yugoslav and i know for a fact that the muslims of bosnia, the croats and the serbs which were very diffrent countries satyed together becuase of his great skills of a politcian, so dont talk about how you know about yugoslavias people, i know what was going on becusae i lived there myself, and the people were happy

This documentary is horrible. Ive watched all episodes and they all salute Tito. Its disgusting! Tito did many good things (so did Hitler) but he was primarily a dictator and murderer. How can people who are supposed to be democratic historians and experts from the west salute a simple undemocratic dictator and butcher? How can they do a documentary without even mentioning the slaughter of 200 000 Croats, mostly civilians, in the Austrian town of Bleiburg?

tito wasnt a dictator becuase he never declared war on a country, he wasnt part of the cold war and he never killed his own people, the croats formed a nazi group called the ustahi, and they were killing poor viliages, so the only thing u can do if u were pres, is form ur own group to stop the killing, they were the partisans
