I was reading on the Gamespot forum that this is not a sandbox type of game, aka not like Oblivion, GTA, etc where you can free roam around an open world. Then I hear it is from other people? Is it some sort of hybrid where it's partially open world? What's the scoop?

you can choose where you want to go, but there is a story line that yo ukinda have to follow, unlike games like oblivion where you can choose to or not.

ok, that's all good then. Because sometimes while playing Oblivion the story felt a bit dis-jointed because you were off doing all this other stuff too.

Now I'm just debating on if I should get this for the PC or Xbox 360. I heard that they are basically the same.. except for that if you have a great graphics card (I have a 8800 GTS) that it looks better when your up close with the characters.

Also I wonder if the DLC will be free for the PC version. I bet that the DLC will cost points if I go with the 360 though.

well from what i've heard in the interviews is that the 360 version is going to be easier then the PC version, other then that they are the same.

I heard that the PC version gets a mod toolkit, so if there is a chance that people develop mods (good mods) it could add a bit to the game.

as far as whether its sandbox or linear gameplay... without spoiling it, im just going to say you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want but eventually it all leads to the main story line.

as far as Xbox vs PC, the graphics are the same. PS3 is the only platform that got hooked up with the uber graphics, not saying the PC version is bad or anything though. other then that, your graphics card is fine, but its good to have multicore cpu too, otherwise you get "bottlenecked" at times.

I think if i play a character it has to be male..... since im a male... although.. if you think about it if your going to be playing this game for a very long time and your going to be staring at the backside of a character... female would be the way to go...

also... think the story changes if your playing a character of the other sex??

I know, I'm just wondering if it has multiple endings. I know that the story can change a bit depending on what you do.. since I also saw some vids of the gameplay concerning getting with a different woman character depending on what you say/do and what the reprocussions of that entail too.
