Of Course many people like Naruto because it as many episodes and seasons and all that shit. But Avatar has a great story, and its a great show, it as great battles, and badass characters. So Naruto and Avatar are both great shows and if you haven´t watched Avatar you should because its really good and yes it would be a great match :)

(Basically, they were just filling in the time before the main highlights of the season: DOBS & Sozin's Comet.)

Though part of what I liked about The Last Airbender was that ancient China theme. and now there changing it too a more modern city type theme and the story isn't as large. But I'm sure it'll work out

While naruto is still learning how to use his strength, aang mastered all the elements in less than a year. And he's only 12!!! It's obvious who's the better fighter.

naruto was really interesting in the begining. i loved it. i thought i had finally found an anime i could really get into. but by epi. 40, i was like: "ugh! ANOTHER filler? i cant take this anymore!" thats the problem with long animes, they rely on lots of fillers to keep the plot going. :/
Ang would die even in spirit mode. Naruto in the sage of six paths cloak = game over hes the fastest ninja in the naruto universe right now and his powers consist of rasengan vacuum, mini rasenshuriken, rasengan bomb, rasengan planet and his six paths chakra arm to grab you closer to his rasengan or guide it in any way.
I like the majestic appeal for the basic elements in Avatar. (In Naruto, all the hype is aimed at the convoluted techniques Kishimoto can muster that are associated with the Sharingan - much less the Rinnegan.) Plus...I like seeing women who can kick ass & handle themselves, rather than be there for the "sex appeal.)
Naruto's powers are way too exaggerated. Plus, Aang is completely against killing so it wouldn't be a fair match. I would go for Avatar because I like that show better now. Naruto is getting kind of boring.
Sasuke vs Zuko sasuke would use Shusanoo and fucking murder him. Naruto vs Ang:Chakra form Ang is dead. Togh vs Gaara:Gaara uses Shikaku togh dies.Pain vs Fire lord we all know pain would win.

You have your facts wrong. In Naruto there are hardly *any* ranged Jutsu, and never has a planet been destroyed. I believe you are thinking of Dragon Ball Z, where nearly every attack is ranged and they can destroy planets with ease

As for Toph, I wouldn't be surprised if she can pull off a "Gaara" This is the show's Earthbending prodigy we're talking about; and the creators haven't made it clear how a bender's ability is "rated." It's my own opinion; but ATLA was a fresher concept than Naruto. (I've outgrown the typical "hyperactive/dense" protagonist; and it's OBVIOUS the author has a great deal of favoritism towards the Uchiha.)
Naruto is actually a better show and it has a far better story then avatar don't get me wrong though I love avatar but Naruto is just way better and if we count shippuden then its just wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better

@coolsonicman Toph can't do much against Gaara especially in the desert. Part 2 Sasuke is already beyond what Zuko can do. In fact even Chunin Exams Sasuke can beat Regular Zuko unless he has comet boost. Ozai and Azula are only moderate threats to Itachi if they get comet boost and thats because of its long range.
@coolsonicman The only one i agree with is sakura vs katara. Sakura is worthless and Katara is beast. But the rest of these people would get owned by the Naruto characters... Like there would be no chance in the world that

naruto was really interesting in the begining. i loved it. i thought i had finally found an anime i could really get into. but by epi. 40, i was like: "ugh! ANOTHER filler? i cant take this anymore!" thats the problem with long animes, they rely on lots of fillers to keep the plot going. :/

Ang would die even in spirit mode. Naruto in the sage of six paths cloak = game over hes the fastest ninja in the naruto universe right now and his powers consist of rasengan vacuum, mini rasenshuriken, rasengan bomb, rasengan planet and his six paths chakra arm to grab you closer to his rasengan or guide it in any way.

I like the majestic appeal for the basic elements in Avatar. (In Naruto, all the hype is aimed at the convoluted techniques Kishimoto can muster that are associated with the Sharingan - much less the Rinnegan.) Plus...I like seeing women who can kick ass & handle themselves, rather than be there for the "sex appeal.)

Naruto's powers are way too exaggerated. Plus, Aang is completely against killing so it wouldn't be a fair match. I would go for Avatar because I like that show better now. Naruto is getting kind of boring.

You have your facts wrong. In Naruto there are hardly *any* ranged Jutsu, and never has a planet been destroyed. I believe you are thinking of Dragon Ball Z, where nearly every attack is ranged and they can destroy planets with ease

oh this is hard. i used to be totally obsessed with Avatar. It's ok now. But im completely COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH NARUTO NOW! Oh and I've been dying to watch Shippuden Episode 220. So I guess I'd pick Naruto cause it may not be realistic but it's bloodier and more exciting than Avatar. But thats just MY opinion.

@321zigzag i still think gaara vs toph would be a good match. she might not be able to see or feel gaaras sand but it makes so much noise im sure she can hear it. and being blind im sure shes made use of the sounds. when she hears sand shell react. i agree with you on sasuke and zuko. im sure zuko could maybe stand a chance of the super old sasuke (the one who fought haku) but any further after he discovered his sharingan not a chance. also agree with you an itachi azula ans ozai

@coolsonicman Well the problem is that Gaara is natural at Sand. TOph is not so much. Not to mention Gaara has done much greater things in Sand. TO be fair I rather have Zuko win just because Sasuke is a spiteful character.

As for Toph, I wouldn't be surprised if she can pull off a "Gaara" This is the show's Earthbending prodigy we're talking about; and the creators haven't made it clear how a bender's ability is "rated." (Or is just genetics or can anyone really be great if they TRY. In "Naruto" it's all about chakra.)

It's my own opinion; but ATLA was a fresher concept than Naruto. (I've outgrown the typical "hyperactive/dense" protagonist; and it's OBVIOUS the author has a great deal of favoritism towards the Uchiha.)

@coolsonicman Toph can't do much against Gaara especially in the desert. Part 2 Sasuke is already beyond what Zuko can do. In fact even Chunin Exams Sasuke can beat Regular Zuko unless he has comet boost. Ozai and Azula are only moderate threats to Itachi if they get comet boost and thats because of its long range.
