  • @RichardElden How was Eden a good Prime Minister at all? Even in this video it states the HUGE problems he caused, dividing the country and humiliating us, sinking us into a financial crisis again. He had an incredibly short leadership period as well lol, it was more Attlee/Macmillan and Thatcher who were the best Prime Ministers in terms of reforms and actual differences to Britain.

  • @itsmedooley Attlee was trhe worst Prime Minister and Macmillan betrayed Eden during the Suez Crisis.

There was no alternative - we could not let Colonel Nasser get away with breaking his agreement.

  • Hmmmm Liebfraumilch. If you'd asked me at age 10 what color are wine bottles I'd of said blue. Blue Nun was at every Christmas in my American-German household

  • @RichardElden Whatever makes you happy richard elden!! I can't help but wonder, are you, Elden, crazy about Eden because your name is similar to his,,,,, :-D

  • @RichardElden Look Richard, try to look at history from a different angle, another perspective, new point of view, try to see things as "OTHERS" see it, if u can do that believe me you will find a new and exciting world, u will even understand and see yourself in a new light.

  • Nasser was a freedom fighter who wanted to unite the people of the middle east and Africa against the greedy tyranny of the imperial powers, he was not a puppet of the west like Mubarak was, that's why the imperial powers hated him and portrayed him as a brutal dictator and sadly people like yourself believe that propaganda. He just wanted to be able to say NO if he needs to and not just follow orders. End of!

  • @RichardElden Maybe he was a dictator but he was also a freedom fighter who wanted to unite the people of the middle east and Africa against the greedy tyranny of the imperial powers, he was not a puppet of the west like Mubarak was, that's why the imperial powers hated him and portrayed him as a brutal dictator and sadly people like yourself believe that propaganda. He just wanted to be able to say NO if he needs to and not just follow orders. End of!

  • @RichardElden I'm not saying that Nasser was an angel, of course he decided badly sometimes but out of good intentions. I sure hope so!

  • @RichardElden Yes Nasser aided Algeria in their struggle against the evil imperial rule by the French and any freedom loving and self-respecting person would have done so.The Israelis killed, murdered, raped and destroyed the houses and the Olive and Lemon fields of the Palestinians and anyone in his right mind would have aided them, The Sudan WAS part of Egypt at that time(it was annexed 100 years earlier) but Nasser gave them the right to choose independence or not, they voted Yes.

  • @RichardElden I don't know where u get your info from, but it's not quite right! (oh u get it from Shimon I think!!) International terrorism!! England, France and Israel attacked and killed innocent civilians and children in Egypt, because they are greedy and always want more, that's International terrorism!

  • @RichardElden He was forced out but they said "due to ill health" so it doesn't look bad, everybody knows that! It was time to take it back. Do you know why Nasser nationalized the canal?!

  • Respond to this video... A greedy C#nt to be precise!

  • Respond to this video... It wasn't an illegal theft, it was simply taking back what is rightfully ours from the greedy imperial powers of the age, the Canal was on Egyptian land and built by Egyptian people, it was and still is 100% Egyptian. Eden the C#nt!

  • @RichardElden hahahahahahahahahahahhaaahhaahahahahahhahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It wasn't an illegal theft, it was simply taking back what is rightfully ours from the greedy imperial powers of the age, the Canal was on Egyptian land and built by Egyptian people, it was and still is 100% Egyptian.

  • @RichardElden It wasn't an illegal theft, it was simply taking back what is rightfully ours from the greedy imperial powers of the age, the Canal was on Egyptian land and built by Egyptian people, it was and still is 100% Egyptian. and Eden was forced out in the end anyway.

  • @RichardElden I know the battle mate, it was in 1882.But so what, why are u asking about it?! Egypt didn't even have an army then, you know why?! I guess not. Egypt didn't have an army then because it was a part of the Ottoman empire. The guys who fought the British army were just scattered and poorly equipped border checkpoint soldiers! Grow up!

  • @RichardElden Why are you asking about?! what do u mean?

  • @RichardElden People in England don't know that The brave Egyptian people living around the canal for millenia were fighting the evil triangle of death (Israel,France,England) in the streets, house to house and triangle couldn't control any city. Please show some respect when you talk about people who are trying to defend their country against an unjust invasion by 3 of the most powerful war machines at that time.Don't misunderstand me, I love London,my wife is English and my kids are subsequently

  • @kimokamal5 Surely Nasser caused the invasion when he decided to break the Anglo-Egyptian Agreement that he himself had signed on 19th October 1954?

  • @RichardElden Eden is the real cunt.

  • They thought they can just go and invade Egypt! easier said than done mate!

    BBC = Bloody British Cunts.!!

  • I think our goverment handled Suez completely the wrong way, but fuck the Americans for behaving like that.

  • @dezboss Eisenhower later greatly regretted saving Nasser.

  • @JuanMacready Bit late once our country had been significantly reduced in authority. Partially our fault, but America's just as much.

  • @dezboss Eden did the right thing. If Nasser had been removed in 1956 there would have been no Six Day War and no Yom Kippur War either.

  • @JuanMacready he was also the first Arab leader to actually recognise Isreal tho...

  • @Kill3rballoon Nasser never recognised Israel.

  • @JuanMacready what counter-factual rubbish.

  • @blueray1969 Thorpe agrees with that view.

  • @JuanMacready Even if the war was right, he did it via the wrong methods, hiding a conspiracy from everyone to make an excuse to attack them made it look very bad, that he was just after the Suez crisis (which i believe was really his only intention)

  • @itsmedooley The Soviet Union and Yugoslavia had blocked any sanctions against Nasser at the United Nations.

  • The "Live and Let Die" excerpt almost made me piss myself. Thank you! :)

  • Thanks for posting, wicked.

  • how did supermac managed to have such clique in goverment? the man is smart and gordon brown could not even push out alistar darling show how weak he is

  • cheers matey!!
