  • this is Just Awsome !!!! Great Video & Great Bike !!!!!!!!

  • Not bad, but its not a triumph and I bet it doesn't sound as good as a triumph either.

  • STICK A SET OF DROP BARS ON IT ! CAFE RACER

  • love this bike but would never buy it!!!! 30hp??? come on what a joke!!!!

  • @snippidippi It's 47 bhp, not 30 bhp. The official Kawasaki home page shows 48 PS (approx. 47 bhp)

  • @wbstr8934 Forgive my ignorance, but what is "PS"?

  • @thespeez I had to look it up too. What I learned was that PS is a unit inveted in Germany and widely adopted in Europe. 1 PS = 0.986 bhp. So, PS is 98.6% of horse power. There's only 1.4% difference, and Europe had to invent a new unit for it. Screw them. >:(

  • What's the helmet brand? vous connaissez ce casque?

  • che casco è???

  • Hermosa moto.

  • This is the way how Kawasaki compete against Thriumph, to capture the European customers. I like to watch this kind of versatility to build fantastic machines :)

  • Haha, die hat HG auf dem Nummernschild. Das ist wegen dem Firmensitz in Friedrichsdorf und der ist bei mir um die Ecke :D

  • น่าจะเข้าไทย

  • Elle est magnifique ! :O

  • Hat die neue W800 einen Elektro-Antrieb oder wo ist der Sound geblieben???

Da klingt meine W650 um einiges besser :-)

    Schaut euch mein Sound-Video an!

  • Wish stuff like this sold better in the US. The Ducati Monster is like the best selling Euro style bike here and I rarely see one.

  • brilliant motorcycle

    brilliant cup

    w800-cup.ch

  • My Dad just brought one, beautiful bikes!!

  • I want to change the front springs on my W650. Anyone know a good type of progressive springs?

  • Pena que no Brasil uma W800 não sairia por menos de 30 mil reais, ou 20 mil dolares !!!

  • Anyone know where this video was shot?

  • Retro Classique!!! Somebody finally made a motorcycle for people who need and want just that.

    wowowowowowow!

  • kawasaki w800 production 2011.. perghhh... melelehh sioott..

  • Would it help me get that girl? Anyone know that model btw?

  • what's the deal with this coming to the USA? Is it still not happening?

  • @Grvthang Not for 2012 (at least not yet). Hound Kawasaki with requests to bring it here and they might do it! If there's a motorcycle show near you this winter, make sure you attend and tell Kawasaki's reps. this!

  • drum brakes, oh man! where do i sign!

  • Think would like one of these to go with my cb 1300s Honda. In the late 60's had Jap 250's but saw the old bonnies buzzing around "slowley". This look nicely finished but would I soon get frustrated with the lack of power?

  • Like a BSA

  • Geez, buy a Triumph and get the real thing.

  • what a sexy bike, man i am saving up big to by the bike at my 19th birthday, love these retros

  • I love this ! I ride a Harley but I love all companies I just hate the million Harley clones out there I wouldnt be cought dead on a Kawasaki that looked like a Harley but I would ride the wheels off of this beautiful throw back to the cafe racers of old! Bravo on such a great bike Id give it ten thumbs up if they let me!

  • ooooofff, definitley getting this bike one day!

  • I liked the look at it in the shop and was thinking about a test ride - until I saw this add and thought, "Would I be a pretentious pratt like the guy in this video too if I bought one?"

  • @TRXruss Lol :D I am a girl and I will sit there where that guy is sitting and take over the show-off part :D

  • @BringItOnYFD that would be great I'm sure, but hen I think Kawasaki might miss their target audiance. Still, I would prefer to watch a good looking girl ride the bike than that guy.

  • @BringItOnYFD that would be great I'm sure, but then I think Kawasaki might miss their target audiance. Still, I would prefer to watch a good looking girl ride the bike than that guy.

  • Looks nice but the Guzzi V7C sounds a hell of a lot fruitier than that sewing machine sound, shame as would probably have one over the Bonneville, ah well, I will stick to my Guzzi :)

  • Comment removed

  • I too was disappointed by the sound. The w650 sound awesome. Is it just the pipes on this one (although stock on the older models sound sweet?) or does the maker of this promo really not understand the importance of the bike's sound?

  • hahahahaha!!!

    Sound: " Wrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"!!!

    "Wrrrrriiiiiirrrr-wrrrrrrriiiiirrrr"!

Sounds like Crap, Brake and Fork is bad, and the building Quality is bad ( grey Paint ON the Chrome of the Exhaust.....

    It sucks!!!

    Wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrr!!! ;-))

  • jap model of british classic. go figure.

  • Add a rear disk and bring them to the USA!

  • Lovely motorbike --- but notice how the goggles are just accessories... Not very real-world... IMHO

  • Nice bike and all but I don't believe that anyone rides round London like that! I didn't see one white van try and kill them WTF?

  • bonneville is better!

  • I WANT THIS SO BAD!!! SOMEONE BUY IT FOR ME!!!!!!

  • Where is the sound? It sounds like a electric bike.. Is it just the movie or does it really sound like that?

  • Hat null, aber NULL Sound!!

Zudem die olle gabel, die schlechte/weiche, hat immer noch keine Doppelscheibe!

Also: Null Sound, schwache Bremse, weiche Gabel.

    zudem kein Abs.

  • Excellent! Wonderful!! I love this kind of motorcycles. I've a new Triumph Bonneville T100. I'd like very much they bring it to my country, Argentina. But I don't believe in fairy tales.

  • Bring it to America, keep the price reasonable (think Honda's excellent 750 Shadow), and it'll sell.

  • you've gotta to be shitting me.

  • Bring it to North America, make it substantially cheaper than a Bonnie, and I'm sold!

  • i can´t hear the sound

  • This is a nice ad for Davida helmets, but if this was an advertisement for the W800, the producers would have focused more on the sound of the bike than drowning it out with stupid elevator music.

  • カワサキさんあんたは偉い

  • A Japanese bike, in England, on German plates..... Truly Kawasaki has gone international with this one. Looks like they've succeeded. Triumph should be afraid.

  • @dctim Triump is still sweet, I must admit this Kawasaki did impress me though. There is a bike for every genre and this Kiwi will do well. I think the times of only the kool bikes are Vtwins is over and it's all about knees in the breeze. If I trade in my Triumph do I get a fine chick like that?

  • @dickdiggler2 Unfortunately no, you dont get a chick like that, because I've already claimed her.

  • Es simplemente preciosa, bravo por kawasaki!!

  • retrò e bello.....mi piace...

  • Bring a 250cc version of this in Europe !! ~~

  • @Geokouu actually there was a 250cc bike that was similar to this one, the Estrella

  • @xrispan

yeah i know Estrella , production stoped at 2005 or 06 in Europe...

800 cc are much for easy rides in town , fuel is very expensive !!

  • I owned a W650 and it was a great ride - design, finish and quality top notch - and great engineering to top it all off. The thing about W650/W800 being "fake bonnevilles" is just bs. The hinckley triumphs are just as "fake". Hinckley bought the brand name and built a completely new motorcycle around it - and then priced it too high. What it comes down to is engineering and design. "Heritage" is just an excuse to rip off customers.

  • @cfodk

I appreciate a lot your note. You are right.

Pleople must consider and know the "W1" model built in '65 by Meguro, then Kawasaki. Concerning modern models, Bonneville was born in 2001, W650 in 1999. Sorry for my english :-)

  • Try the Original TRIUMPH Bonneville, you will be surprised about the difference.

  • Kawasaki! Notice this! watch?v=dkyS43BtSSg

Stop making this bland triumph rip off, and start making some bad ass flat tracker or cafe style motos!

This promotional video is painfully generic, and so is this bike. There is no story, no context, no culture. Just a douche in black set to some generic guitar riffs.

Get real Kawa! Find out what we really want. It is not this. ALSO WHERE IS THE KICK START?! At least it will be a decent platform for modification. God bless LSL.

  • @clevername333 wwoooahhhhh ... Mr . Smartass telling the world what s wrong and right .... bet my ass you got to be American.... big mouth no action.....

  • Nice bit of kit. Subtle design changes from the W650, none of which are wrong. If I was dissatisfied with my 2002 W650, I'd go for one. But I'm not so I won't, just yet... No kickstarter! I needed mine _once_ when the original battery went on the blink after 7 years of ownership. Bleedin' boring Jap build quality...

  • I think this Kwak is cooler than the Bonnies.

  • Am very excited by this bike, currently own a w650 and its brill ! Will try one out as soon as poss! Retro-Tastic !!!!

  • GOD IT'S BEUTYFUL!

  • My goodness, doesn't it look like a Triumph Bonneville...

  • OH HELL YES. Please tell me it is coming to the US!

    I have a 2000 W650, and I love it.

  • The W800 is a great move for Kawasaki, along with the ZX-250r ninja. They're not heaping all their eggs in the one basket with just High-Perform sport bikes.

  • cant wait to cafe it out!!!

  • step in the right direction

  • kawasaki stop mucking about and bring us the zrx daeg!
