  • using a solar cell is a good alternative source of energy, but the deep cycle battery that we are going to use in this technology are very very impractical high price. i hate the price of deep cycle battery. anyway, im going to construct my own deep cycle battery and im going sale it in a ver very low price so that everybody can afford to buy and i also have a solution to construct a solar cell for cheaper price...

  • I've actually tried to buy buy this product about 2 years ago, it's manufactured in New Bedford, Ma. It would be nice if it was on the market. As far as I know, if your not the US Military... you aint getting it in any mass quantities.

I've seen the hand bags and smaller wattage strips.

Good luck, lets us know if anyone finds that Konarka has open this product up to the public, besides fashion accessories for peoples iPods

  • bring this to india too coz India needed it

  • Absolutely genius invention ! Big successful future

  • This is brilliant, bring this technology to Australia.

  • Although it's a interesting consept, I doubt that this will become the next big thing. It is a reason they didn't mention power output or efficiency in relation cost or surfacearea.

  • Actually I've seen this on several shows & tv features and they claim it will bring the cost down to 1c a kilowat - keep in mind I've known this product to be in development for years with no indication on actual product readiness. it's exciting if it's going to be a real thing though.

  • that's cool
