Lamborghini looks, sounds, feels, drives, better than the M3. Just becuase something is fast doesn't mean it's fun. Bugatti Gayron for a prime example.
Drives better than an M3??? Have you ever driven an M3? Just because it doesn't cost as much as a Lambo that doesn't mean it doesn't drive as well as one. And Im pretty sure the Veyron holds the second fastest track time around Top Gear's track so I would say it must be pretty fun (and drives good).

Guys we aren't little boys with soft wood fantasizing about Italian poster cars anymore. You will never be able to afford a lambo or a ferrari and that's okay. However, a turbo m3 is a tangible dream for the everyday good guy.
@magnumphase If you can afford a HPF M3 you aren't far from affording a Lambo Gallardo (maybe not superleggra). E46 M3 -- 20-28k (if you buy a good condition low milleage one). HPF Stage 2.5 .. roughly 30-35k said and done (labor, etc). You'll need to spend another few grand on wheels/tires/subframe reinforcement etc and everything with the exception of the car has to be either cash or credit card/etc.. and thats expensive. Gallardo is like 90-100k now days.

@magnumphase Buying a lambo or ferrari is a tangible dream for many upper middle class folk now that they have models that are more conservatively priced. For an m3 to keep up with any supercar, it has to have a lot of money invested. Sure you can get by without doing some of the aforementioned but good luck having a car that lasts you longer than a year. A well built m3 is $70-80k at least, while a good lambo will be $100k (used of course). However, the m3 will have a lot more issues later on.
If i had the money i'd ask HPF to do me a one of a kind turbo kit :D Just give them the money from the lambo (after being sold) + maybe get a stage 5???
I have a M3 and it's been the best car I ever owned. fuel economy, cost,speed and handling are great. Plus it's easy to work on n reliable. I take a M3 over most overpriced exotics any day Espiacially unreliable American cars!!
@kirbygreen420 srsly? kind of easy here...well on the high end I could buy an imported R32 GTR for 14K, bolt on a 67mm compressor, a few choice mods, tune everything and get 500whp daily on pump gas - thats about 19K all in. On the low-end a 1'st gen Talon or Eclipse for $1500 with a built motor and full bolt-ons, T3/4 etc would run about $7500 all together (cheaper if you did the install yourself) this would be good for low 11's and you'd have lots of money left for spare tranny's

It depends on how you drive it of course, but the HPF kit supposedly gets better mileage over a stock ///M... and definitely better mileage than a lambo.

I have a M3 and it's been the best car I ever owned. fuel economy, cost,speed and handling are great. Plus it's easy to work on n reliable. I take a M3 over most overpriced exotics any day Espiacially unreliable American cars!!

@kirbygreen420 srsly? kind of easy here...well on the high end I could buy an imported R32 GTR for 14K, bolt on a 67mm compressor, a few choice mods, tune everything and get 500whp daily on pump gas - thats about 19K all in. On the low-end a 1'st gen Talon or Eclipse for $1500 with a built motor and full bolt-ons, T3/4 etc would run about $7500 all together (cheaper if you did the install yourself) this would be good for low 11's and you'd have lots of money left for spare tranny's

@UserNamei5 why? i guarantee you the bmw still rides better, costs $150,000 less, and still beats it, and with the 2.5 and RWD youll get much better fuel economy. and superleggera costs about $20,000 more than a regular one (being generous) and it only gets a few more horse, and they remove alot of the quality parts to lower the weight. STUPID! id rather have the m3 and a house, or 4 m3's. or an m3 and a cobra and some camaros, maybe a 900hp CRX. in a huge shop. all for the same price as 1 lamb

It depends on how you drive it of course, but the HPF kit supposedly gets better mileage over a stock ///M... and definitely better mileage than a lambo.
