Been on SL for a year, I have an amazing guy I met on there and people can call me desperate all they want, but it does not change the fact I have a gorgeous, kind, wonderful guy that people like bigbadbom can only meet in their best fantasies. People log on from all sorts of walks of life and while there is a downside, as shown there, if I had not for curiosity's sake logged on, I would never have met him and quite frankly I'll risk people calling me desperate for my amazing man.
i think anyone who needs to make a relationship online is a cunt and people that end up having a serious relationship or getting married are in need of professional help,is their anything more desperate?
ive been on Second Life for nearly two years... i split ur wif my ex coz of second life.. kinda made me realise i wasnt in love wif my rl ex anymore... i have made loads of friends who i spk to outside second life.. I found Second Life to be a great place to escape real life.. hit me up in SL Summerz Sinclair
Secondlife isn't about adultary nor anything else like that. as mentioned earlier a lot of relationships DO form but most are innocent. It is an ideal place for people to get to know one another!
Did the program make mention of how secondlife is an online world owned and completeley created by it's residents? thought not
Well I wanted to watch this programme, set up the video recorder went on Second Life and became so engrossed that I forgot to switch it on so I missed it!!! I have been on Second life for a year, it's like an addiction but a good escape if your RL is a bit dull and ordinary. It's easy to join and needn't cost you anything but if you do, remember all the avatars are real people in other parts of the world. You meet some fascinating people. Have fun and don't break anyone's heart!!!!
What a shame. yes there are intense relationships in Second Life; but for heaven's sake! most are innocent and don't involve adultery. Music, the arts, business my own field, distance-learning university-level education etc. etc.The BBBC might have done a full-length feature on any of those rather than appealing to prurience simply to increase ratings.
