What I'm wondering about is what did they used as a sales pitch?

"... uhh, ya so, people are just going to come to this website and browse a page full of 'eye-straining' adds... I swear, millions of people will come and click on your adds for no apparent reason!"

Anyone has an idea of what got people to buy 'add space' on this ugly website than... we'll say, Facebook or Google?

If I was a business owner, I'd spend my 10 G's on a high-activity website that has another purpose than 'add-shopping'!
