And what i was saying about the osmonds was that I was speaking about THEM being stupid Americans. BUT, then it's not their fault the writers for the MISS AMERICA pageant wrote something dumb on their teleprompter.
Granted the US had some great power to help defeat the Axis in the WWII conflict, it was NOT just them that won.

The war of 1812 was not a tie. The US won some of the battles (receiving Maine), but lost quite a few (nova scotia, cape breton, bermuda-still a british colony, and Newfoundland) as well as Stoney Creek ( it is a town next to Hamilton--near Toronto). Obviously it wasn't much of "a tie" since Canada is still here, and not a part of the United States. Canadian forces were not trying to take over US colonies, but were trying to save the colonies that they had, with help from Native Canadians.

@Thomasao7 I'm not American, but how are you judging where the most crime and violence is? If its based of crime rates that may just mean their law enforcement is doing a good job by indentifying them. Not all crime is reported, so there is no real way of knowing. That being said, I don't agree with copo's statement either.

Two: Single handedly? Right...because it's not as if Britain had terriroties in the East, and sent troops to defend them. And it's not as if the Chinese fought.
Three: Russia would have beaten Germany with or without you. You had to get involved because you were shit scared of Stain getting to Paris, not because you wanted to 'save the world'.
