What happens when you drop it?I bet it won't look so nice after a few chips in the cover.The LCD window is nice at least you can see how much storage space is left.

Obviously you don't go around dropping a hard disk drive... it's like asking what would happen if you drop your laptop or something fragile, "does it resist the impact?"... Eer, no, so don't drop it and it'll be fine.

@bregowine If it works good I would use it.I am just saying they make drives to look so fancy and what it looks like doesn't mean much to me.If it was very sturdy or could withstand a drop or two then that's great.I would rather have a drive that looks like it could take some falls or could actually take some falls and keep on working than some thing that you drop one time and it becomes totally useless.

Indeed, I think the same about that. In that case, go for the Lacie Rugged Hard Drive models, they have a lot of good comments about its sturdiness.

@bregowine Stay tuned for the Titan XS... it is the smallest portable hard drive in the world... and it is encased in rubber. Very durable. Coming out in April from Verbatim. Thanks!
