I picked up some ideas about how to do it from other people and then tried to make it look as good as possible. I used Sony Vegas video editing software for the effects.

Thank you, and I was unsure about that blip sound but I felt that there had to be some type of sound accompanying the shut off. Also, when I uploaded the video to youtube for some reason the blip sound did not time right with the shut off effect and occurs too late.
