Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed? That's basic slap technique, nothing to it really. It's not bad, I'm not trying to rag on the guy, but I think you guys are giving a little too much credit. That's a really nice bass though, I am jealous of that
yes a 9 volt in the behind the control compartment cover. It powers the preamp and lasts almost a year depending how often you play/leave it plugged in
To his defense some video recordings make damned near everything sound sharp. =/ I saw a performance and then bought the recording of it and the whole show sounded sharp on tape. No idea what caused that, but I have seen it.
how do you know what tuning that he is playing in? maybe it's not standard so it doesn't sound correct to you? and that G-string was making me want to stab myself in the brain not the A-string

I'd appreciate if anyone out there could answer this question;
How can you tell the difference between a PERFORMER or a LEGEND model? I bought a used one and can't tell what model it is.
Thanks in advance.
mazzo99 2 years ago
the back of the performer's neck is black and is made in China. The Legend has quilt op veneer and is made in Korea or recently in Indonesia
they have maple necks with rosewood boards and have a curve to the entire body

Thanks !!! Does the Legend use a battery?

Your playing is good, but the only thing making it sound worse than it should is that A string... it's too sharp o.olll
