  • Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed? That's basic slap technique, nothing to it really. It's not bad, I'm not trying to rag on the guy, but I think you guys are giving a little too much credit. That's a really nice bass though, I am jealous of that

  • dammmmmn that´s what i call a catchy slap

  • I'd appreciate if anyone out there could answer this question;

How can you tell the difference between a PERFORMER or a LEGEND model? I bought a used one and can't tell what model it is.

    Thanks in advance.

  • the back of the performer's neck is black and is made in China. The Legend has quilt op veneer and is made in Korea or recently in Indonesia

they have maple necks with rosewood boards and have a curve to the entire body

  • Thanks !!! Does the Legend use a battery?

  • yes a 9 volt in the behind the control compartment cover. It powers the preamp and lasts almost a year depending how often you play/leave it plugged in

  • get some of your friends and make that a song it sounds awesome!!!

  • dont listen to the fags down there. tuned or not i couldnt stop bobbing my head. nice job :D

  • To his defense some video recordings make damned near everything sound sharp. =/ I saw a performance and then bought the recording of it and the whole show sounded sharp on tape. No idea what caused that, but I have seen it.

  • pretty badass

  • What tune is this?

  • gar i need to learn to slap!

  • how do you know what tuning that he is playing in? maybe it's not standard so it doesn't sound correct to you? and that G-string was making me want to stab myself in the brain not the A-string

  • ?????

  • Your playing is good, but the only thing making it sound worse than it should is that A string... it's too sharp o.olll

  • Haha, I'm trying to learn slap right now but I noticed your french, where are you from?

I'm from quebec so of course I'm french too. =D

  • awesome

  • support - is the word. u should make money with your dog and make everybody happy.

  • before learning to show off with some slap learn to tune the bass

  • "before learning to show off with some slap learn to tune the bass "

    +1 to that.

  • that thing sounds goooood

  • Sounds a bit like Stanley Clarke.

    Very nice!

  • Thanks guys, it's an improvisation to try this bass.

  • it really LOOKS like a smooth slapbass :O:O what kind? Ibanez BTB?

  • It is a Spector NS, looks to be a NS2, possibly older USA model

  • it's a bass spector Euro Lx but i'm not sure. I didn't buy this bass in magasin, it was used.

  • ... the video is called spector slap bass dumb ass, its gonna be a spector not an ibanez

  • whahaha xD didn't paid attention to it ;)

  • lol at least you have a good sense of humour about it

  • hé, I'm a bass player, what you want? ;) btw, I was kinda chronic when I searched it up xD

  • ive got thje exact same bass except the coulour is diffrent wood affect check ma vids to c!

  • Fantastic...

  • u got some serious talent

  • nice and funky

  • fuckin awesome

  • quite good, smooth ,melodic, and good on percusive notes, kep it up
