I have honestly got to say that this looks like the most promising space title to date.

Having playing Earth and Beyond, I've longed for a title that plays the same.

I played EVE Online for 2 years in a 0.0 alliance, and whilst fun it is comparable to 'real life in space' than a space-based 'game'. That is not to say it's a bad game; it is easily the best space MMO out for the moment, but with the likes of Jumpgate Evolution coming out it could lose its place.

EVE WAS pathetic, but that's if compared to it's own ambitions. Still better than most MMOs out here at the same time!

By the end of 2009, it will be the last thing standing however

-with customizable ships(T3)

-realworld economics

-in-depth socilization features(Ambulation, EVE Voice)

-a challenging, freeform pvp-centered non-sharded universe(suck mine other "MMOs")

- and a graphics engine complement you would go gay for!

Not to mention KILLING LAG! (Supercomputing is the future).

This game will also have to compete with Black Prophecy(dogfighter space MMO). Wish it luck, EVE forever as EVE will be bringing change to the industry as it leaves it in the dust.

Looks nice, so starwarsish that even the music is an attempted copy, not a bad thing, if it's possible to colonize planets in this game, and if the planets can be secured and defended in any permanent way, and if the zoom and perspective could be adjusted to be 3rd person I would play this game... look forward to it, don't forget to add aliens, like in Star Control II, and a story, choosable alien races, and combat on planets would be cool as well....

Man its like one man project so don't except everything you said, especially it won't be possible to get out and walk on planets or your ship, which would be sweet after all, but i understand it needs lot of work from developer point of view (especially if its only 1 men :/ )
