  • MAKING YOUR PEACH COBBLER FOR XMAS THANKS

  • I really liked this recipe!!! It was delicious! I made it again and realized that I forgot to put the butter in completely. It didn't make a bit of difference so I will follow this recipe and just leave out the butter!

  • I followed your recipe and it was a hit. it was my first time and i thank you

  • Hey your videos are great, I made a delicious cornbread from your recipe and I want to thank you. However peach cobbler does not have to take this long. I have a much quicker way of doing it.

  • @simmick1 Hello. I'm glad you liked my cornbread recipe. As far as my peach cobbler, It does take that long. I show and tell how I make it, and I gave the proper time frame for my recipe. I appreciate you commenting

  • Man that looks so good, reminds me of my Grandmothers.

  • Anybody that eat peach cobbler knows the best part is the crust! Gooey or not thats how we make it fuck all that other stuff! Its the dough baby that makes the pie not the peaches!

  • To keep it more healthy: I find that with sweet fruits, you don't need sugar, even if you do drain them. Of course, a few tablespoons in the dough are needed if you don't use the pastry shortcut.

You can also use nectarines, apples, pears etc.

  • To each his own but wouldn't the raw dough be sticky and gooey after baking? A bit much for my stomach to digest, but whatever your taste buds are accustomed to is fine..I prefer to bake my dough.

  • thanks for sharing, i enjoyed watching your tutorial, have a blessed day!

  • this was a really good video, i enjoyed watching and I'll prob even try to make it myself, thanks!

  • Hey Ladyrose1983, imma PEACH COBBLER fan, and I watched your tutorial yesterday and went home after work and made it. It was my first time making a peach cobbler, and it came out PERFECTLY!!!! My boyfriend, thought i bought it from the store or something....YEAAA!!!!! You knows it's always great to please your man with some good food. Thanks again for sharing your recipe. I will try your 7up cake next.

  • perrrrrrfect.....

  • I followed your recipe. The peach cobbler was great. It was easy to follow. Thanks so much. My family love it.

  • Loved it....... Gracias ^^

  • i love the way you make your peach cobbler. the way i make mine is some what similar. the only difference is the dough you put in the filling;i bake mine first then put them in the center.because i think it be to doughy.

  • @popcorn123466 I wasn't gonna try this recipe bcuz I agree with u!! But I will try it, but I will cook my dough first...thnx @ladyrosie1983 and @popcorn123466

  • For Cherry or Berry Cobblers - I do not use any spice other than vanilla. I love making my homemade no fail crust, but am sure the store bought works well. Since my top crust is fluted, I cover the edges with tin foil so it doesn't burn. When you make chicken and dumplin recipe - use a chicken cookie cutter on the top crust - looks so pretty. For cobblers I generally use a heart with other slits around for steam to escape. You ladies will put the others to shame with their breadycobblers!

  • The only real southern cobbler - thanks Rosie for bringing our Granny's cobbler to youtube! I make bottom crust as well as adding the crust dumplins and top crust! So good! Use a cookie cutter to cut a shape, leave the crust though, just use the cut marks for design and for the steam to escape. Try this recipe with cherries, black berries, marion berries - oh so good. Yes...frozen peaches taste bitter. I use canned DelMonte. I only use cinnamon as the spice, no vanilla or nutmeg.

  • i love this recipe..i made it twice in the past week lol..once for my family then the next one for a potluck at my uncles. i didnt get any at my uncles..everyone gobbled it up before i could get some lol..they loved it.

  • Hey Rosie love your recipes. I was wondering is it possible to put that first crust at the bottom of the casserole dish, then pour in the peaches, then put the last crust on top? I love lots of crust but I do like most of mines crispy.

  • @yaneree ABSOLUTELY! Cater to your taste buds darling. Enjoy the cobbler!

  • Even though the crust is not homemade, I have been looking for a recipe like this FOREVER!! The crust is through out the peaches and soo moist and rich. THANK YOUUUUU!!!!! So many people put the crust on top only. THANK YOUUUUUUUUU!!

  • @Ticc24 You are beyond welcomed sweetie! You can make home made crust if you prefer, but It's a tad more time consuming. Enjoy!

  • This is exactly how my Momma made it when I was little. (She made everything from scratch). Using the store bought pie crust is a God send. I have never been able to make good crust. I don't have my Momma's touch with dough. Thanks for making it easier for me to visit my Momma's kitchen again. God Bless!

  • Have never cooked a peach cobbler like that, but it looks wonderful!!!! If I only had a spoon . . . no peach cobbler!!!! I enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing more. thanks

  • @BargainClipper The canned peaches are really great with this recipe...fresh peaches tend to come out kinda bitter...

  • @Monrentho2008 Oh, okay; I'll try it with the canned peaches and I'll find some other use for the fresh ones. Thanks for the tip!
