PS3 move is the worst motion control ever. I am a PS3 guy, I hate X box and I my Wii in mostly a Netflix player. Having played all systems I can honestly say that this guy must get be sponsored by Sony. The PS eye in the worst cam on earth, it is so bad, it could not track a pink turtle across a room. Anybody that has ever played The Fight (lights out) on PS3 with the move, you know what I am talking about.
I have ps3, wii, pc, and above all I luv my PS3. I picked up the move and MAG and RE5 gold edition. And After configuring up the the setting it was very interetaning. And your right xbox kunict is not for hardcore games. It'd mostly for chaining tracks on playlist and opening and doesing disc tray...
also i'd like to Add, that it cost $50 just for the Move controller alone. so no you cant really "get into the move" for $50. However 360 kinect is way to expensive. And you cant play the Move without a 300$ ps3 so if you dont have one already then your paying 350$ at least to play the Playstation Move.

@titop222 Kinect also supports two players as well, so if you bought sports champions and wanted to play gladiator arena with two players to get the full experience you need 4 move controllers. The claims of the move being cheaper are misleading, the kinect is $150 but it supports 2 players and comes with a pack in game. On the flip side the move can require up to 4 move controllers for the full experience in two player mode and you also have to buy a game as well.

nice review i was unsure of these motion control gimmick crap in all consoles especially xbox kinect is stupid they're gonna have to suck it up and put out a controller to accomodate better more complex games rather than as u said hitting red balls and wii i never even cared about the motion control i only wanted to play games without it bcuz this motion seemed to take away from the experience such a brawl,mario kart or DK returns but thats it all in all thanks for doing such a thorough review

@ivanpive nope as the majority of 3DTV's use shutter glasses plus 3D uses the new HDMI 1.4 standard which im glad to say the PS3 has full support of, a standard HDTV has HDMI 1.3 though it is able to do 3D but only to a certain degree, to be able to use shutter glasses they comunicate with the 3DTV thats how shutter glasses work and thats why you cant use shutter glasses on a standard HDTV.

now unless your a cheap skate a good quality HDTV will cost around £600-£700 so paying an extra £300 for a 3D set and selling the 3D blu-ray player will bring the price much closer to that of a quality HDTV and unless your a complete bafoon most 3DTV's are equally as good in 2DTV mode as a standard HDTV, trying to justify a 3DTV against a 3DS really show how moronic some people are.

And IF Kinect could play gladiator, it isn't as precise as the PS Move since turning you wrist doesn't has any effect.
1 Move controller on the other hand is precise and it can switch between shield and sword by using Buttons!

@wip3ou7 if you actually spent any time with the wii you would be far less excited by the move, it's pretty sad hearing you on the podcast trying to pimp out the move controller. Now I agree that the move is a step above the wii-mote, but is it essentially pretty much the same thing. After playing RE with the move controller I am sure that you must be convincing yourself that it is awesome because the controlling is clunky and pretty much feels like playing RE4 on the WII.

Kinect "TRIED" to advance the the PS eye from a while back. But PS Move also uses a Camera allow to do the same thing kinect does

@ivanpive nope as the majority of 3DTV's use shutter glasses plus 3D uses the new HDMI 1.4 standard which im glad to say the PS3 has full support of, a standard HDTV has HDMI 1.3 though it is able to do 3D but only to a certain degree, to be able to use shutter glasses they comunicate with the 3DTV thats how shutter glasses work and thats why you cant use shutter glasses on a standard HDTV.

@flatblackstrat Infrared light has nothing to do with heat. Black interferes with the KINECT because the "color" black does not reflect light, which is why it's black... It requires the infrared light to be reflected so that it's intensity can be measured and understood as a level of depth. A black shirt will show no infrared saturation, meaning the KINECT will think that the black object is farther away than it actually is, or isn't there at all.

now unless your a cheap skate a good quality HDTV will cost around £600-£700 so paying an extra £300 for a 3D set and selling the 3D blu-ray player will bring the price much closer to that of a quality HDTV and unless your a complete bafoon most 3DTV's are equally as good in 2DTV mode as a standard HDTV, trying to justify a 3DTV against a 3DS really show how moronic some people are.

While you're obsessing about your 3DTV and anemic selection of material that's actually in 3D, other people like me have sound systems that immerse me into games and movies using NO gimmicks or tricks. Sound is a much more efficient and proven way to put the player or the viewer into the game or movie. I'll take my sound system over a 3DTV anyday.
