PSX Longplay [003] Final Fantasy VII (Part 1 of 10)

Taking the time to read the previous comments, I've gotten the impression that I'm a bit older than the other posters. Numourous references to Final Fantasy titles, only one or two towards those pre-Playstation. While I do enjoy FFVII, I am disappointed there aren't as many acknowledging the original six. I suggest you emulate them, if you do not collect/own Nintendo cartridges. ^_^

@Magix1reaper It's because Cloud has "mako eyes" - the mark of a SOLDIER. Even though he was never part of SOLDIER, he got the eyes from Hojo's experiments.

@Bosston62 I agree and maybe not even voice acting, because this particularly expressive music was meant to replace the effect of the speech. In my opinion, just a graphics face-lift to make the image sharper for the HD TVs, like in the case of FFIV for the PSP.

Memories I still feel final fantasy six was highly overlooked and underated because this game got so much publicity it completely put six in the dark. I love FFVll as well though!

Try ebay, this game is usually regarded as a collectable, and the American version is actually more valuable than the Japanese version so it's not that easy to find cheap. There is however the green-labeled version (newer version) which is pretty cheap (For the PS)--or you can download the game through a torrent.

Make sure to do a virus scan too, just to be sure. Sometimes the file can get corrupt and/or cause havoc on your computer (a hidden virus imbedded into the file(s)).

It's nearly impossible to say just one Final Fantasy, or any game for that matter, is the best game in a series because all those games, concerning a good series, have their own high points. If it came down to only gameplay improvements, it is most likely the latest installment that is the best unless it's bad or an omission of something good, but one should take into account story, characters, abilities, environments, all of which make every game unique in quality...
