  • @copyRIGHThunter Is there a reason why you didn't put "Castle a Go-Go" in the video title? That's what all the map websites and several other sites call the level, and it would help minimise confusion, even though the name may not be official.

  • GOOMBA'S SHOE! I FUCKING LOVE THE GOOMBA'S SHOE!

  • hey man i cant found the link for download, the link of the description opens a forum, but i cant find how to download! please anybody help me

  • This is the second level with a boot on. I like this one.

  • Wait did nintendo do this or was this hacked? i looks awsome!

  • @SuperMarioIsland Nintendo made this, but didn't release it outside of Japan, check out my channel to see how we're trying to make a level editor for this

  • @copyRIGHThunter oh ok thanks for clearing that out of the way i was a little confused. Well thanks for the helo im gonna check out your channel now. :)

  • Wow, Nintendo really did some experimentations with the thwomps...

  • yeah, i've hacked the nes version and you lose the goomba boot if you try to stomp a thwomp with it

  • @copyRIGHThunter: not always. sometimes you can step on top of the thwomps with the goomba shoe in both the nes & snes editions of smb3 and other times you can't. but in the gba version, you can step on the thwomps consistently with the goomba shoe on.

  • What's weird is that the shoe's name is pronounced "Kuruby's shoe". It's a great power up, though.

  • I wish Kuribo's shoe appeared more in this game.

  • Say, where do you get these videos? I mean, these levels aren't even released! P.S. I subbed!

  • they're released in japan

  • I know that, but how did you get them? They look fun to play!

  • I added a URL in the video's description, check it out!!!

  • nice

  • where can i get theese levels???

plz help...can i get them on a gba??

  • please check the link I added in the video description and read the thread

  • IM SO PROUD OF THAT DAMN SHOE!

  • LOL!! The way you said that is priceless. Classic comment. Thumbs up!

  • its a shame he got outbooted in the end :(

  • Someone make a hack in SMW or SMB3 with all the E-reader levels in place, I think that would be genius. Just an opinion. =]

  • WHOA! I didn't know you could kill Thwomps with Kuribo's shoe.

  • strangely, i've hacked the NES version, and you'll lose the boot if you stomp a thwomp.... also the tiles glitch bad too

  • wats a kuribo? da shoe?

  • No. "Kuribo" is the Japanese name for Goombas. When SMB3 was released for NES and the SNES, the guides and manuals that went with them left the original Japanese name in. So did the letter from Princess Peach after beating one of the earlier worlds. It was changed from "Kuribo's Shoe" to "Goomba's Shoe/Boot" in later releases.

None of these unreleased had English names,(NOA neve translated them) so I've taken the liberty of naming them.

  • tell me how come the Kuribo's Shoe item can't super stomp While in Super Mario War 1.8 *coming soon* it can super stomp

  • the concept is very original since there was no special level with kuribo ,s shoo and there was only on level in smb3 wich kuribo,s shoo appears.

the only 2 thing wich sucks is once you,re hitted, the shoo will faid away and you have to grab a new 1 ,and the fact once finishing the level with kuribo,s shoo,it will dissappear, but if it din,t dissappear, than it was a big more chellange to beat all other levels with kuribo,s shoo.

  • There was actually one more level in SMB3 that had Kuribo's Shoe, but the level was not used in the game. You can still play it if you have a Game Genie though. There were about 16 or so unused levels in the game but not all of them were finished.

  • lol
