Wow, with the way part of the second half sounds, they might as well both be separate songs...but that doesn't matter, still a super cool song.

The main part of the song is just whimsical, but the dissonance and chaos in the second half makes think of a serial killer... Like, the end of the anime opening is where someone (Osaka? Chiyo? Sakaki?) had her breakdown and started her reign of terror... Fairyland indeed.

I'm half joking, but it is sometimes jarring to hear the difference between the TV versions and full versions.
