The scene where he gets scared by the virus just seems silly to me. It seems common knowledge that the virus is deadly (KILLED MOST HUMANS) and so when he sees it inject blood cells he's so goddamned surprised.

I know "oh, but its all a dream" but that's the quitter's way out.

Brilliant...i saw your ad on Craigslist and I'm wondering do youeven need Voiceover for this since it is very dramatic as is and voice will only take a bit from that IMHO. Of course it depends on the voices and how you use them :-). Amazing scenes and very interesting ending. Definitely makes a person want to see more of  your work. Good luck.

All these new animated shorts are morbid, dismal, macabre, eerie, depressing, ugly, creepy, dreary, etc., etc., etc.; and in the conclusion always an exchange of one MISERABLE STATE for another MISERABLE STATE requiring nothing original, no creative genius, just mediocrity.

I must say when you insult someone, you go all out. The asylum itself was a beauty in architecture to me, but the scenic view around was what I was referring to, not the situation. The poor man is lost in his own head, so much so that door handles are guns and instead of the beautiful calming greenery around the institution he sees a waste land. I think he had a life-threatening disease but he recovered from the disease physically but was mentally unstable because of it, at the end where he really was, he's in a clinic where he's recovering but not getting over it.

Nothing that happened there *actually* happened. That building was labled "Ark Convalescent Home". In other words, a nursing home. That was just a senile old man. He was imagining the Ark Convalescence Home to be an actual *ark*. That's the big hint that he was making things up in his own head.

It was nothing but an old man desiring escape through imagining a poetic and passionate death. But, instead, he's going to rot away in that building, alone insignificant and empty. That's what I see.
