@austinbeedy Hi, there were no modifications made to the valve. It's a simple irrigation valve you can pick up at a home improvement (DIY) or plumbing store. The only thing we had to do it connect it to a battery. We used the battery from a power tool. Just be sure not to cross the leads of the battery.

We used 2 pieces of 2 feet long 3/4" diameter PVC pipe and wrapped plastic tie wraps around them to hold them onto the pressure chamber. Good luck!
