just think. right. it is JUST one slip up. thats all. quit again and remember NOT that empty smoke, but ALLL the time before it, and after it where your insides have become pink and healthy again. AND the MONEY you have freakin saved!!
I'm very grateful to that cigarette unfortunately. It seems sometimes that it's just as often the imperfect moments, the so called errors of our ways that lead to inspiration and transformation in thought. Last night, as I was watching the sky with the woman I love, I saw the moon through a smear on my shades, and the distortion caused by the smear gave the moon wings of light that spread out for 4 times its width. I squinted, and the wings began to move.
At that moment, thanks to that smudge on my glasses, which a perfect world would never have known, the moon flew like an angel. Eventually, I cleaned the smudge from the lens, and the illusion was gone..but the experience will never be forgotten. Perhaps, so it is with this imperfect society we live in today. Perhaps one day, we'll clean the smudge and see clearly. Let us hope that we never forget the lessons learned from the experience.
a book you must get is called Daimonic Reality: A Field Guide to the Otherworld, by Patrick Harpur. An amazing book.........all about The intelligence of Imagination. And how we, actually, cannot OBSERVE the world withOUT Imagaination
it made me lol

Really powerful poem. Did you write it?
Your voice fascinates me. There is a lot of emotion and tenderness there

Thanks for the comments and ratings. For those of you who simply took the time to LISTEN, thank you.
This piece was written yesterday morning while I found myself puffing on a cigarette again after having quit for many years.
