I feel so strongly when I listen to this song. I just keep thinking, yesyesyesyes. This is how I feel. the video starts out with a molecules, then She in front of a window that is a ocean front city for the sky looking down, then clouds with an airliner flying, getting higher, then the sun, earth, moon, red blue umbrells are metors exploding in the atmospher, red flowers is Mars, white lights ?, the flare is a comet, water fall is rings of Saturn, then she is walking out into the solar systems far enough where she then becomes the center of gravity. this is my favourite video clip ever, actually. it's memorable because there are no spesh effects, and it's all done in one solid, single shot (unlike all the ones where there's a different shot every ten seconds and in every single one they're wearing a different outfit). Not to mention that the imagery and everything else is stunning. to me, anyway. it just really stuck with me:)

And I understand why they wanted to make a "universe" around her, because the song is called Gravity, which is a fundamental law of the Universe, but I agree with you- it doesn't match the "mood" of the song, which is slit-your-wrists desolation... not "clever". This would have been a perfect video for a perky, upbeat ditty, not something like this. I still love the song, though...
