Great video. However, I know you might not agree with this, but I really think that the music industry today WANTS to push crap, because they way they do it maximizes their profit (or so they think). Think Justin Bieber. What's being sold is a lame fashion accessory to unsophisticated tween-age girls, who are sold "canned love" (and who don't want to be seen as uncool by not liking what their friends like). The fanzines/reviewers "go along"; and shills are there to hype "the next big thing."

Brother you are so right I did a record years ago called Brass Disk and the label gave it to Todd Terry to mix it and all he did was Lift my vocal and put it on his own track not bad but it could have been mega Hit not just a good record thanks your boy Adolph Dupree

i totally agree...magic is something that can't be relaced. just hangin around as artist & producer to get that chemistry is oh so important. a producer/writer will hold back those special songs awaiting for that top artist to be available, so it's a missing piece in todays music...i'm a total artist and in my day they literally erased people of my caliber, who could play instruments, program, write, rap and design ...only in our community is the product so CANNED oriented as prince once said...
