I really admire James' devotion to a film series he loves, so much so that he was willing to spend so much time and effort tracing the footsteps of the characters.

The first thing I did when I visited Philly was run up the steps early in the morning. I ran a mile to the museum and was completely gassed halfway up. But I had the music timed perfectly on my iPod and made it to the top right on cue with the music. After celebrating, I nearly collapsed from exhaustion because I think I ran that mile in under ten minutes. But it was well worth it. I'll have that memory the rest of my life.

Funny. I live in Philedelphia and I oftenly walk past the steps with my girlfriend. 80% of the people are from the UK.

I'd love to come to america and to philadelphia just to run the rocky miles, in london I run litteraly nearly 30 miles a week or in two weeks, I never had much of a chance to watch all rocky films ever I've been more hooked into rambo. but if I ever come on down to america staying over in the state of philadelphia and running the rocky mile to witness the epic run sylvester stalone witness by present day standards.

When you run for 3 or 10 miles into another town/area you feel rewarded for it.

Wow great video of our beloved Rocky's 6 movies saga, that I've watched countless of times since the first came out in the 70s.  Unfortunatly in the early 90s Sly's help put a lawsuit against him for being mistreated as an employee. Seems he got too much of a swelled head & they were not even allowed to look Stallone in the eyes even if he was talking to them. Now they did win the suit & it cost Sly a bundle & even hurt his career for a time. But hope he learned his lesson?
