In Daniel chap.3 it was at the sound of the music that all were commanded to bow down and worship the image. Rev.13 is a parallel chap. commanding all to worship the beast and his image. I wonder if this will happen at the sound of the music?(Daniel 3:5,7,10,15)

May I ask you why? Isn't this song describing how marriage vows should really be? God designed marriage to be forever, and in this day and time, so many people choose any little thing to get a divorce. I think this song is very relevant to the service about what true marriage should be like. There is nothing satanic about that.

@lynnctodd i totally agree with you... newspring plays music that has to go along with the servise... if there is a moral about Christ coming out of the song i think there is nothing wrong with it...just like when they played highway to hell they had a message to go along with the song about getting off of the highway to hell and turning to Christ...

People want to bash Perry and Newspring just because they have made church current and relevant while sticking to the fundamental teachings of Jesus Christ. I think that Newspring finds new and creative ways to reach lost people who would otherwise still not know the salvation of Christ. I'm not sure how they water down the gospel when they teach directly from the bible. The goal is to reach lost people, and if you don't like the way Newspring does things then you can find another church that you do like. People enjoy the service, learn about God, and learn how to become better Christians. How many people has your church seen saved?

That is great. Sounds like both churches are doing something right. Just because the message is different, doesn't mean it isn't based on the same thing, the bible. You should be happy that more people are being saved and more people are learning about Jesus. When I've been to Newspring I've seen people who are passionate about what they do, love meeting new people, and teaching them about the bible and Jesus. I'm not sure what is wrong with that.

so you prefer churches that are seeker-not-friendly and make new people who come to church so uncomfortable and judged that they will not ever want to come back to church.....that sounds like a great idea (sarcasm).....their church has a comfortable atmosphere but in no way do they promote a comfortable christianity....just watch some of perry's sermons and you will feel a swift kick in the face of conviction from the Holy Spirit
