@guiy16 yea at 2000 olympics she was still pretty good and then hit the wall. look at the videos. she gained weight, became slow and its soo obvious that Irina tchachina had waay better skills, look at Irinas balance, or her tricks, or the way she moves, i mean she is a true ball of energy and girl is not double jointed like alina where she can bend like she has no bones, Irina had to work hard, became the best yet still got second. Alinas boy toy Putin made sure his girly wins.

its because viner gave gizikova sooooo many chances but she never took them... at least that's what i heard in an interview of hers... but anyways gizikova was an amazing gymnast, she had a sort of PAZAZ inher routines that would melt anyone like butter
