Love that bike .. Ive got a 2004 Gsxr 1000 with a KMH speedometer and when it hits 299kmh (187mph) it doesnt go further, but the revs go on for like 3000 more ..

Is that the same with your bike in Mph ??

do you still have the limiter on the bike?

most bikes are restricted to 186/187 mph, stopping them hit their limit, if you remove it it will fly by it, to about 196/200

its only restricted in the speedometer :P it wont display more than 299kmh. the bike itself still accelerates though :D

You dont need to use the clutch when changing up the gears only when changing down!!

Try it just put some pressure on the gear lever and snap the throttle off for a split second... Boom.... Smooth upshift!!!!

yeah boom is what your clutch will sound like when it's ruined you should only do that if ur racin it's not recommended to do it all the time

Dude, shifting without using your clutch just is not recommendable, because you're just ruïning the liftime of your gearbox... Do you even know where they use the clutch for?

Indeed i do my friend the clutch is used for setting off and changing down the box.

I have done it for about 15 years and iv never had a gearbox problem.

Dont get me wrong i do use the clutch to change up when im riding gently but Angry riding never!!
