These costumes are no more than a bathing suit. So if you go to the beach do you call every girl you see wearing a bikini a slut? Aso most of these costumes are like this because they allow the judges to see their bodies and judge the movements better.
they r not sluts or anything else that u call them, they are dancers. Its the way they dance, and they're amazing! better than me anyway. just because they dance like their sluts or dress with hardly anything on, it doesnt mean theyre showing off! they're doing what they do best, so leave them alone!

honestly, i think this dance is outragous. they're great dancers and they have fabulous presence. and personally i think people just need to get over the costumes and appreaciate the dancing.

this dance has been one of my favorites for a long time! fabulous dancers.. they've grown so much and i love the energy in this piece... it makes me want to get up and dance with them.. haha GREAT JOB! no matter what your opinion is on the costume, who cares? this is a video of DANCING not costume judging. they are fabulous dancers and thats all that matters.

I think that they are awesome and I've been a dancer for 18 years of my life and you see costumes even less than that! They're dancing to Britney Spears and I know that at my studio when we did solos duets and trios we were actually allowed to pick out our own costumes!

I'm not a dancer, nor do i have much knowledge of dance. I would be interested to know their age.... As a parent watching a girl of 12/14 dancing like that in a costume like that. I would be a bit worried. You can't take away form them how good their turns are, I mean they look so smooth and easy, which is good. Some of the moves though.... They worry me a bit for how old those girls look. I think I would be more comfortable watching that if they were a bit more covered..but my opinion..

If you can't see how inappropriate the dancing and costumes are at this competition (not just this video) then there is something seriously wrong with you.
these dancers are amazing... the only thing i have to say is that it wasn't very clean. They are very good technical dancers, but i think the choreographer should have put a little less turns in it.

Women do frequent strip clubs, so you're basically calling them strippers who work for free. They're obviously good dancers (yes I watched the turns) but their teacher has them doing inappropriate dances in inappropriate attire. Also, please learn the proper use for the term disclaimer (you didn't disclaim anything).
First, you need to pay more attention in your english class. Second, dancing like strippers isn't appropriate for 13 year olds. Dancing like strippers (which seems to be the standard at this competition) doesn't showcase "amazing technique", unless pelvic thrusting is considered a technique.
P.S. My comment wasn't directed toward their "costumes", though I am curious when dancing in underwear became the standard at these competitions.

I think that they are awesome and I've been a dancer for 18 years of my life and you see costumes even less than that! They're dancing to Britney Spears and I know that at my studio when we did solos duets and trios we were actually allowed to pick out our own costumes!

i love this dance!! the costumes go with the whole dance so i like them. do u know how ridiculous they'd look if they were wearing a unitard? idk why people are freaking out its just a dance you dont have to get so worked up about it.

I'm not a dancer, nor do i have much knowledge of dance. I would be interested to know their age.... As a parent watching a girl of 12/14 dancing like that in a costume like that. I would be a bit worried. You can't take away form them how good their turns are, I mean they look so smooth and easy, which is good. Some of the moves though.... They worry me a bit for how old those girls look. I think I would be more comfortable watching that if they were a bit more covered..but my opinion..

well...even though this is the sport of dancing and all that, i still don't think it's the most appropriate thing for 10 year olds to be wearing bras and underwear on stage...that's just my opinion. i used to dance in competitions and your costumes can be cute without being slutty. i just thought the moves/costume were a bit too mature

ok..in the world of dance..u usually wear very little if any body smart already know that..i wear costumes that is less than that..people if u dont love the sport of dance and dont support it..then dont watch it..the dance was amazing..both the costume and the dance :))

@dancingqueen - If you take out the spins this could easily be video from any strip club in american (except then the video would be illegal because they're underage). If you can't see how inappropriate the dancing and costumes are at this competition (not just this video) then there is something seriously wrong with you.

these dancers are amazing... the only thing i have to say is that it wasn't very clean. They are very good technical dancers, but i think the choreographer should have put a little less turns in it.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHUT UP! Disclaimer: These girls worked their butts off to dance like this! This isnt child porn or anything like that the costumes are incredibly comfy especially at our studio people dance in bra tops and booty shorts because of how much we sweat! Stop calling them strippers if they were strippers ONE theyd be getttting paid to do this and TWO they would only be doing for only men! thanks :)

Women do frequent strip clubs, so you're basically calling them strippers who work for free. They're obviously good dancers (yes I watched the turns) but their teacher has them doing inappropriate dances in inappropriate attire. Also, please learn the proper use for the term disclaimer (you didn't disclaim anything).

First, you need to pay more attention in your english class. Second, dancing like strippers isn't appropriate for 13 year olds. Dancing like strippers (which seems to be the standard at this competition) doesn't showcase "amazing technique", unless pelvic thrusting is considered a technique.
P.S. My comment wasn't directed toward their "costumes", though I am curious when dancing in underwear became the standard at these competitions.

i would have to agree that the dance is a little hoochy for what the girls ages seem to be, but it is very amazing and i absolutely love the dance, i just felt a little wrong watching young girls do a few of the moves, but all three of them are amazing dancers.

Just Plain Dancing is one of my favorite studios. They have great flexibility, awesome turns, and the most energy. I wish i danced there. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
