From looking back to the older cars, it's obvious how chevrolet has improved, besides, saturn's were suppose to be cheap, affordable, and reliable small cars, i'm happy they stopped saturn, because people didn't want a pricey saturn, that's why we see alot more older ones, chevy's doing waaaaaaaaaay better now, gm really dosen't need that much brands.

@Mynthoni81 it was actually built in the US on the same platform as the Malibu, but that front end and other aspects were designed to resemble the Vectra (esp. since they had plans to make Saturn sort of an "Opel Jr.")

The Aura sucks, I only averaged 11L/100KM (21MPG) with the 4 cylinder with mixed highway/city, when it should be 26mpg and the interior sucked

I have a '09, and it's great. Its amazing for teenagers. I got one for graduation and it's perfect, great mileage, not to fast, great sound, on-star, great engine, this car is really good. And for it not to be so expensive, it's a very luxury car to me from the look to the interior to under the hood. Great car!

Its really amazing, Gm has been making better cars for years now but the idiot public only think they know that Honda and Toyota are always better, Gm cars have more power and features than the jap/euro cars with a lower price, they always have really, Gm has to pay alot more taxes being a US company to pay for the US govts wars and BS, that makes it a lot harder for them to compete

I own a Saturn Aura 2007. It's got about 61 K/M on it and so far no problems. The handeling could improve, however, this thing has more pep than most vehicles on the road. I have the 3.5. Overall, it's probably the best buy for your buck. The 2007 and up Camry's are the shitiest cars out there...people will realise that they are not the same as the 2006, 05, 04, etc. By the time word gets out they will move on to their 2012 model. The Accord is good but over-priced.

Especially for a Saturn and even for a sedan, it is quite a classy and even sexy looking vehicle. Gorgeous shape, glamorous tail lights, and perhaps a grille work more handsome than quite a few luxury cars, it is pure class with looks.

fucking hate this car bought one a new 07 with the v6 had 40,000 miles on it the air bag sensors went out the seat motors went out the engine even started leaking oil. traded it in for a 08 with the 4 cylinder same shit inside the car electrical issues first new car was 2002 impala issues to beat worst car i ever owned fuck gm we bail them out and they still make worthless vehicles

I never really liked Saturn very much. If you want a real nice midsize sedan, I'd go with the Ford Fusion/Mercury Milan. Those are nice. :)

Its a shame Saturn is being phased out, they finally started looking real good to. Heard on the news there was talk of cutting the price of Saturns and Pontiacs in half during the phase out process. I might look into getting a new Saturn if the price drops real low it would be worth it.

The Malibu looks like Barf..... The Aura looks 10 times more refined than the Malibu. Chevy is crap anyways, the only "Gem" of GM was Saturn.

Definitely not. The Aura has similar handling quality with the XR but rides noticeably harder. Styling is subjective.

@TheNewMrCool no way man, Malibu got a worse timing on the slalom, interior is bland, Aura feels more spacious and overall, a 2007 Malibu looks like another piece of junk chevy and Aura looks classy. Auras are also much more rare. I just got one, people turn their heads but for Malibu, looks just like anything else.

@TheNewMrCool I worked for GM for 7 years and u cant compare the Malibu and Aura. The Aura has foreign quality. I built both cars and their not the same. This car is a saab with a saturn name tag on it. Malibu is plastic inside and out. But the Malibu is a good car but no Aura.

yep its basically a Vauxhall vectra with a few new lights and some updates here and there but the buick is going to be Rebadging the Opel/Vauxhall insignia for over there.

The saturn Ion was an insignia I think.
