i remember in school we had things like these, but they were a bit more mechanically engineered - insofar as they could blink, breathe, cry, etc - and they also has genitals so that you could feed it water and a while later it would release it so that you had to change its nappy. It also had a lot of sensors so if it had a wet nappy it would cry. Was used as an anti-teen pregnancy campaign. worked a treat too
