  • My two favorite people together, this is better then penguins falling down.

  • Ricky Gervais likes X factor... Gone down in my estimations

  • I think this show is pretty awesome, but umm what's up with that band lol

  • ricky did lose weight after cracking america

  • Ricky Gervais is the best stand up comedian of all time!

  • @philipisphilip incorrect

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • lmao, very funny

  • Ricky is so much thinner and groomed now. Money really does make a big difference.

  • @UnderTheAffluence I know, I sometimes wonder if its the same person.

  • @MrGearsOfWar96 I wouldn't mind a few million to spend on something other than toast for dinner. I bet I'd look a lot better too...

  • @UnderTheAffluence i prefered the way he looked on this , looks more like a comic

  • I'm called Eva. And I can squirt water through my teeth too. Ahhhh we definitely have a bond.

  • @EvaRoseRead Can you squirt water from anywhere else?

  • @EvaRoseRead

Would be more impressive if you could squirt it out of your vagina to be honest

  • jonathan ross needs to shut the hell up and let him talk.

  • story about e is on a podcast

  • science was only ok.

  • As far as him saying one liners, exception to the facts Stephen Wright And Mitch Hedberg

  • british comedy is the best in the world

  • Anyone else genuinley impressed by how he can squirt water like that?

  • god he looks fat compared to now lol

  • @5teampunker was just thinking that

  • Ross is THE BEST HOST EVER!

  • @Schizm1 no way dude Graham Norton is much better, Ross was great on BBC1, not so much on ITV but over all Norton FTW

  • This would never be accepted in an American show... -_-

  • @MIKOLAJMUSIC - I'm so glad that it would not be. the Americans have this idea of the "class act" which the British need to look at seriously. It's a mixture of looking good and what Sir Clive Woodward calls 'winning behaviour'.

  • @kealyc1 I agree... shows like Elene or someother American show... that I'm not too interested in are all really... shit. I mean seriously their all nice to eachother and stuff... thats not but then again British are the ones who made all the; Panel Shows, Chat Shows and Stand Up popular which makes its easier to share great talent aswell as bring entertainment to all the viewers...

  • @kealyc1 "the Americans have this idea of the "class act" which the British need to look at seriously"

    Lmao! Don't talk garbage Frenchie

  • thumbs up for friday night with ricky gervias

  • I can't believe Ricky cries to the X Factor. LOL

  • im watching this on tv at the same time (not this episode)

  • <-- joov smokd joself ritarded

  • @TheTesseract123 Ten bucks you watch Fox, CNN, or MSNBC.

  • The only thing I didn't like about this interview was the Stephen Merchant joke at the start. Merchant deserves just as much credit as Gervais! He is a genius.

  • Brilliant !! I'd like to know why he never invited Peppa Pig on the show.. ?

  • did he say his mother was a "keen racist"

  • @93johnk Yes

  • rob sounds like a laugh

  • is he affin a laugh?

  • @Yazoo111 think he's affin a go!!

  • 1:02 - 1:04

From nothing to epic in two seconds

  • legend our Rick

  • I love RG.

  • I want to have Ricky's lost kilos. I need them

  • Comment removed

  • Ricky's hair is dyed. How vain are you if you do that.

  • Comment removed

  • @KryzMasta Ask the millions of women who dye their hair

  • @papertreegun The thing is: he's always saying he doesn't care what he looks like, as with his weight, and obviously he does. A little bit hypocritical, in my opinion. That's not to say that I don't like his work - I especially love his stand-up routines.

  • @KryzMasta Or, he wants to be healthy and live longer? If people lose weight for the right reasons, I think it's not vain at all. Gervais is 50 after all, it's never too late too change your life.

  • @NM9005 You missed the start of this thread: I started out saying he dyed his hair. That and his weight loss, while constantly saying he doesn't care about this shit, is a bit silly to me.

  • @KryzMasta No, I saw that. It just didn't seem like a right conclusion to me (respect your opnion though), especially because the weight loss can be due to health reasons. The hair is just a detail next to the weight loss. There is no crime in looking good and it's probably just for him or his girlfriend whereas vain/narcissistic people do it to please others. He doesn't have to be gray, fat and whatever to prove his point. I like him for his comedy so I don't pay attention on the outside.

  • @KryzMasta He may not care, but the production companies that make his shows do.

  • I wish American talk shows were more like this...

  • @GSeward Minus the gay singers

  • @GSeward What the fu*k are you talking about? Letterman is awesome

  • @KurtCobainof21 Letterman has been phoning it in for quite sometime now

  • @MrHumphreyDavy phoning it in?

  • It's a saying, damn nirvana fans! must everything be spelt out in crayons.

  • @GSeward Well the FCC ain't helping...

  • @Seger213 Amen to that

  • @GSeward this is weird...i saw a comment in a david letterman video and ricky gervais was the guest and a british guy wrote " i wish we had a host like like letterman in british tv " , and it was a top comment

  • @GSeward man i wish so too... it sucks here...

  • @GSeward - I'm glad they're not. The Yanks work hard at not being common.

  • @gietek It's not canned laughter, they have an actual audience who genuinely find him funny.

  • @Threxd They may have the audience but the laughter is canned. It starts and stops within a second and it doesn't sound natural.

  • @gietek It is edited you know. They don't show the full interview, they cut it up so there aren't any boring or inappropriate parts, that's probably why it doesn't sound natural. They've shown the audience before, they often shout things out. What would be the point in a silent audience anyway

  • @Threxd Cheers for the wonderful insight into the the guarded secret of TV editing

  • @jimmbobb92 You say that sarcastically but the guy I was replying to clearly didn't know anything

  • @Threxd ..and if they were in need of more laughter, they could hire me anytime,

my kids find me very annoying while watching Ross- I´m always lol

  • @Threxd You mean like almost ever talk show ever right now? Whoa! Thats so amazing.

  • @gietek Canned?? There is an audience and it was a HUGE show. Love it.

  • 1st time ive seen him so an interview in a suit...

  • i miss fat ricky

  • @halubalu yeah me too , he looked better for a comedian abit chubby ...he looks bit boring now :(

  • @bensimps123 eh!? lol. He looks good. And as funny as ever.... :p

  • @doingitmyway82 not now he doesent he looks abit boring

  • does anyone know if the video of ricky gervais giving johnathan ross a kitten is on youtube ?

  • @donnaf630 yeh it is

    watch?v=HR4k5LMsqHA

  • lol "..and funny as a little girl."

  • a ghost in the womb lol

  • this had to be the greatest episode of any late night show, gervais, gordon, and silverman. EXCELLENT.

  • ironically Gervais has started "looking after" himself now he's over in the states more

  • this is when ricky was funny

  • @drgoodman8 as opposed to you never being funny.

  • @gtrrs71 as opposed to you being a inbred lonely son of a bitch. who is in love with Ricky Gervais

  • What a quality bloke

  • those singers always were doing my head in, why oh why those apes are in there and if they got paid for it aswell, thats even more upsetting

  • I like the flip of their relationship. When they were first mates, Wossy was the big star, with his new little chum. Now, Ricky's more famous.

  • i would love to see johnathan do standup

  • @schnizelcreep he would suck. hes funny, but hes not a comedian. he would get killed

  • @schnizelcreep i would rather see ricky do a talk show

  • @mcjuvey1 he's already done one... "meet ricky gervais"

  • @gimmemydinner :O has he?? im searching now!!

  • @mcjuvey1 He did, its called Meet Ricky Gervais.

  • @mcjuvey1 He did one.

  • @mcjuvey1 He's done one already, pre-Office.

    Meet Ricky Gervais.

  • id shag ricky gervais

  • Is 2.38 to 2.46 Ricky's Russell Brand impression?

  • I heard Jonathon Ross when I was listening to XFM, and I've just now seen him and... he looks almost EXACTLY like I imagined him!

  • his mom was a kingmaker / gardener ... ?

  • Jonathon ross and Ricky gervais are good m8's.

  • Easily the best British comedian. His interview on The Daily Show was hysterical.

  • I'm pretty sure they hate each other!!!

  • It's good to see them both really enjoying the interview there's nothing worse than a guest that doesn't want to be there.

  • Ricky Gervais is boss

  • Karl Pilkington should of went on Jonathan Ross show

  • 7:58

  • THE MIGHTY!!!

  • ricky gervais is the god of all comedians.

  • Gervais's comment about one liners is generally true, which is why Mitch Hedberg is so great. His jokes are so unexpected and original that he give one liners the personality Ricky is talking about even though it is hard to do.

  • all I can say is... "are ya having a laugh? IS HE HAVING A LAUGH?"

  • sorry to say but ross is a douche, hes only funny because of the guests he gets on his show.

  • ross is legend!

  • Ross is great u shut up u prick

  • Ross should shut up and let his guests talk. His is SUCH a prick.

  • English people joke around like a close-knit, genuinely affectionate family. So they can afford to be completely uncompromising (i.e. not dumbed down) in their comedic jabs, and it ends up being effing brilliant! whereas American humor tends to be rather flaccid in comparison because it is either WAAAY dumbed down for the hillbillies or way too PC for the benefit of the soccer moms.

  • He has dwight schrutes nose

  • he's such a genius, but so wrong at the same time. British Humor! gotta love it

  • This bloke makes me proud to be British.

  • I love Ricky!

  • Gordan Ramsey is loving this!

  • " we all called her E"

  • ricky Gerbais' voice is almost exactly like Michael Mcintyre's

  • @santis142 it really aint :S:S:S

  • @santis142 are you american?

  • @santis142 not as posh. His voice does go higher when he laughs tho yeah

  • Why can't we american's get a late night show like this?

  • @JohnBrody23 because jonathan ross is paid for by taxes

  • I love English humor! Absolutely brilliant!

  • it's got fat hahaha

  • When it comes to UK talk shows, I always feel like I'm going to McDonalds for breakfast when I've been to Savoy the night before. I'm in Canada, so I get a bit of both...unfortunately I get too much of the McDonalds variety. There's no Channel 4 here. Even the channels that used to be a curse-fest have started bleeping due to complaints, presumably. I watch this stuff and I can't stand 5 minutes of Letterman or Leno. They've even dumbed down Craig Ferguson.

  • @surfer53

Friday night with Jonathan Ross is actually a BBC 1 show :)

  • I've been waiting for Ricky to make his appearance on J-Ross again. Every interview Gervais does is very hard to top for alot of guests.

    Karl Pilkington has landed!

  • love their interactions
